I'm gonna go ahead and spam this to main since I think it's worth watching! If you have one of those TV things and get the Travel Channel, check out this new exploring show! The pilot episode aired last night and comes on again on Sunday at 2pm Eastern.
https://www.travel...a-treasure-hunters I know we're all tired of the BS that fills most "exploring" shows, but this one is actually pretty good. It helps that I know the guys involved and have explored with them, but I think they did a good job of making it more about cool locations than about looking extreme or catching nazi bigfoot ghosts. Yes, they have a semi-mythical "goal" to base the footage around, and yes they pretend that every location is new to them, but those are just sneaky ways to showcase awesome abandoned mines for a cable-watching audience.
They do an OK job talking ethics and safety, and they try not to blow locations. They show maps but don't necessarily show things in the right place.
This pilot was done on a pretty low budget, it will only get a full season if it gets viewers. So if you like it, see if you can get your friends to watch re-runs and maybe do that social media thing with their page and whatnot:
