I found this house by accident while looking for an access point to the abandoned church next to it.
My first visit i ran into a neighbor who gave me a limited history. From what she told me the owners left one day and never returned.
During the explore i found many remnants of case files and a few clues of the previous owners. My best guess of desertion was somewhere around 2011. surprisingly there was no signs of squatters or homeless staying in the house. Interestingly someone still comes and mows the grass even though the house is literally cracking in half.
Pictures are from last year but i will return here shortly to the house and do a 1 year update to see how things have changed.

Fantastic collection of photos, EOD! I'd love to take a stab at finding out more about this place, that's often the most fun part to me. And it's always the places you DON'T expect to find that are the most interesting.

Wow, this place is fantastic. The architecture is refreshing. Between those rounded doors, and those showers, i'm getting wind of a remodel! Also, you could always tell a guy by what he keeps in his fridge. Raspberry preserves, organic picante, seltzer water, sparkling water and Evian? And Diet Coke? Such aristocracy. Nice work!

Beautiful pics! I especially like the bathroom pics, peely paint is my favorite, but there's something intriguing about finding clean(ish) tiled rooms in abandonments. Gotta agree with Joker too, love the architecture also, thanks for sharing!

I couldn't agree more! This place is very unique for the area and way out of the norm for architecture. It really reminds me of a Spanish villa or something. I think the place is a total loss though. The ground is sinking and the house is literally splitting in half. The fridge does sound like something a lawyer would have lol.

Right? I made friends with the neighbors and they told me someone comes to mow every week but leaves the house itself alone. If i was to guess it's to keep the city from complaining.
