| | | | SSH from Windows machiene to OSX < on 5/15/2005 9:33 PM > | Reply with Quote
| | | I'm trying to get it so I can ssh into my home machine which is running OSX (OpenSSH), using a public/private key setup, so it is more secure then just passwords. I've disabled all other forms of connecting in the sshd_config file. Problem: I cannot connect from my windows box. I have mainly been trying to with putty, as well as some other random clients. I have tried making a key combination on the windows box both dsa, and rsa, and copying the public one to my mac and connecting, with no success. I have tried making both rsa and dsa keys on my mac, and copying the public to my windows box, with no success. I was able to connect with another mac, and I can connect with my windows computer when I allow passworded connections. Any advice or things for me to try? Thanks.
