| | | I'll start it off... I have been smoking for about 12 years now. I generally prefer a pure sativa, or at the least a 60/40 s/i mix, mostly because i never get anything accomplished with an indica-heavy strain that locks me to the couch, lol. My implement of choice is a 26" heavy-walled ice-catchin mega-bubblin bastard. although i do have to pull back on the reigns when i smoke with my wife, as she prefers a small glass hand-pipe or a joint. I have grown. A lot. But indoors only, if i have to grow outside in some unsterile field, i'm lost. So...once some others join up, lets hear from ya!

| | | Well, lets see. I'm fairly old school, 26 years worth, but I enjoy neat new twists or funky items that come out. I'm a straight sativa dude, but I certainly dont' look down on indica. Just personal taste. As I have gotten older, I can't stand joints and pipes. Just too hot, harsh and dry. I favor water bongs, mostly made by me, and I have made quite a few. I like to make them out of non traditional items, and my pride and joy is made from a Briggs & Stratton 3.5HP mower engine. Unless you look hard, you wouldnt' know it wasnt' still a real engine. I'm a long time grower, strictly for personal use, and I have great success. I think its mostly due to careful seed selection, and huge amounts of love and care during the grow. I'm a dirt farmer, as hydro is just too much work for me, and I have to move my op frequently, so large rigs are out of the question. Generally two plants at a time, planted about 14 weeks apart, and as one is harvested, germinated seeds go down for another. Anyway, I'm a hard core Republican in most ways, but just a damned old hippie in others. I'm looking forward to comparing tales and tools with others here.
Peace!

| | | Posted by Horus Can we talk about other drugs here too? Like the mushrooms? Damn I love mushrooms.
|
Sure! You are free to discuss as you wish! I'm familiar with many drugs, but i only know cannabis inside and out. i am fond of the shroomies, they are a blast, but when i can get it i prefer clean 'cid. the shrooms make my stomach a little wonky sometimes. but horus, if you can get your hands on a spore kit...shrooms are the easiest things to grow, ever. i'll partake in a little snow too, but only once a month or so...and recently its been about every three, lol. when its available, i also love opium (the only opioid i find acceptable) but it is so hard to track down. i think its been at least 2 years since i've heard it was in town. ~b

| | | Posted by Horus Been smoking for a little less than a year, been smoking regularly for about 5 months. I haven't grown yet but I'm about to, and a fairly large patch too. | Just a sidenote here. Since you admit to being fairly new to the smoking thing, and also to being a virgin gardener, i figured i'd offer up a little advice and maybe pose a question or two. Now, i know you are a very intelligent individual, and the last thing i would want to do is to undermine that...but if you are going to do your first grow show outside and plan on doing a large op, you are heading for a baptism in fire if you don't have your bases covered. Outdoor op's are susceptible to the eye in the sky, and, unless you are in a very remote area or spend a lot on camo foliage or a top cover you risk being spotted by the choppers that come like the plague mid autumn. Have you (or will you) prepare the site for such events? Have you already considered growing indoors? How large is large? Are you familiar with your states laws regarding cultivation and large-scale sale? (not that you would traffic, but they will pin that to the list of charges if you are discovered) I hope i haven't slighted you in any way, but i always get nervous when someone plans to go outside and go big for their first op. ~b

| Yeah, I'm familiar with the laws. They wouldn't start searching for plants at all until around harvest time, when I'll have about 25 girls. The plants are on the tall side (pure sativa x skunk) but helis don't fly over this city. The big commercial outdoor grows are all in the mountains to the southwest. I have one partner who I fully trust. I know what most people say about partners, but really this guy has been my friend since I was about 5 years old, and having been imprisoned before he understands who we must be very discreet. He also has grown, but his plants got eaten by deer. I considered indoor growing but I don't have any safe houses in the area where I could do that. ~b [/quote]

| | | Lol, this morning I got more stoned than I've been in three months. It was a nickle bag, my gf was at the busstop and I always smoke her out, so we started packing bowls. Next thing I know I've had like seven bowls. I stand up and look at the table and the whole vision shifts towards the table and I fall over. I lie down on the sidewalk, too stoned to even stand up. The bus came, I'm told, in two minutes but it felt like half-an-hour of lying there watching the clouds. My friend helped me up. On the bus there were vibrations moving through my legs/feet, and I would tap on the ground in this techno rhythm which was amazing. I think it was just the vibration of the floor of the bus. My mouth was entirely dry, I couldn't even swallow. I spent second period (block schedule so second is my first class today) with my eyes closed watching the melting oozing visuals. I'm still extremely baked, and it's been 11 hours. Fucking amazing shit. It had three seeds in it too. AND I still have half a bag. I'm definately throwing those seeds in with my DP.

| | | 26 years and counting. My resume: Marijuana, hashish, hash oil, LSD, cocaine, opium, zoomz, ecstasy, various pills. Never ever used a needle. Tried freebasing exactly twice, found it a nice high, but the itchy, creepy, buggy feeling I had afterwards...that and seeing the effects on a long-term user...convinced me that it was a bad relationship to pursue. That and the other people smoking with us all looked like seasoned fuck-up criminals. That experience was 20 years ago. I hold psychedelics as sacred. Seriously. Last time I did zoomz was probably 5 years ago. Acid was at least 10 years ago. Will likely take that path again, though not in the immediate future. Smoke regularly. Oh...coke was about 2 years ago, but I'm not supposed to talk about that. Mainly cuz it was shitty blow and the moron who bought it paid too much.
