Our lives are a series of moments, that while separate and unique in and of themselves, blend together seamlessly to appear as a stream of fluid motion.
Digital media, and especially digital video, provide opportunities to isolate these moments into thinner and thinner slices. At 29.97 frames per second, a digital video camera has the capacity decontextualize light and movement much more readily than conventional film, and turn background 'information' into works that capture the essence of the greater mise en scene.
This series attempts to demonstrate this idea (as loose and unrefined as it is at this present stage).
Enjoy.
[EDIT: my bad...posted pic from a different series. Sorry]
