Actually, I have to say that weekday peak hour traffic around here is pretty good. Not that it flows well, necessarily, but people are generally courteous, let people in, and so forth. There's a heap of road construction underway, which has had a severe impact on some major arterial roads, but people during the week just deal with it. It's positively inspiring
However, it's a different story on the weekend, or when it rains.
Actually, there's my rant: people who don't normally drive in the city at busy times, who say "oh it's raining, I'm going to drive to work, and dammit, I'm going to tailgate, stop people entering traffic, weave between lanes because I want to do 100 and the flow is at 20, and all the other things I do when I drive on the weekend. And then I'll write to the papers and complain about the capacity of our roads."
Hey, ranting is fun!
