I didn't find a thread asking this, but if I've repeated a former post, my apologies in advance...
The only one that comes to mind right now is Disturbed... David Draiman makes me drool but the music rocks my boat too...
Oh, and Apocalyptica, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra... So?? What'll it be???

Hmmm very good question. I'm liking your Apocalyptica idea cause that would be an amazing show, but i think i'm going to have to choose Huey Lewis & The News. Haven't seen them since July 97' and i could really go for a HL&TN show right about now.

Seriously? I didn't think it was still hip to be square. Phish is the only one I'm dying to see. Got taper tickets to Cincinnati Nov. 21, and got our hotel room booked: $19.50 a night! And that wasn't the cheapest hotel in town! Working for Marriott has its privileges.

yeah, phish is on the list as well as Tea Leaf Green, they are coming to Denver in January so I'm stoked. Also, even though I just saw them, Lotus is on the list, they put on the best shows around IMO and are really taking off. If you get a chance to see Lotus, GO you will not be disappointed, their level of musical composition is well beyond most bands today. EDIT: here's a good Lotus Starter show, http://www.archive...s2005-11-23.flac16

TLG's on my Pandora station. I've liked what I've heard so far. Don't think they're coming to Cleveland any time soon, though. I've heard good stuff about Lotus, but never heard them. I'll give 'em a listen. If you like TLG, I suggest you check out ekoostik Hookah. They're primarily regional around Ohio but they do get out to Colorado occasionally. Listen here: http://www.archive...8-11-29.aud.flac16 And one I taped: http://www.archive...tails/eh2004-07-17

For years I just wanted to see Marilyn Manson. A couple months I had the chance and he didn't disappoint. At this point I've seen everyone I've wanted to, but I'd love to see Julien-K and Mushroomhead again.

I hate you! Kidding.. I love HL&TN but have never seen them live. I started listening to them when I was 5 years old. They are my guilty pleasure!

Really? That's awesome! If you haven't seen him live then you definitely have to. If he ever comes back to town we have to go see him.

I check their website everyonce in a while, but there's no new tour dates beyond the only one they have in January.

Saw a 14 year old kid on the evening news the other night who's been playing piano for 9 years, and already he's being compared with Glenn Gould. I'd pay LARGE money to see/hear him.

Yeah i check every week or other week usually. I actually just checked it now and although they've added a couple more shows there's nothing really close to here. I dunno if he doesn't like it up here, or can't get gigs or what because aside from shows in BC every year/other year the closest he gets to Toronto is Casino Niagara in Niagara Falls. Which i mean isn't far, but it's still a ways to go for a show.

There are a lot of artists I love, but I would have to say Sigur Ros. Finding their music was life altering, seeing them live would be the sort of beauty that would bring tears to my eyes and drop me to my knees. Witek tells me I am about right in that assumption and that I must see them if I get the chance. He's usually right when he gives me advice.

missed the varukers in montreal a few months ago and I was pretty pissed. also missed the subhumans about a year ago. both of them i would like to see.

Umphrey's McGee was absolutely fucking amazing when I saw them last spring- am hoping to see them in March or so. It'll be interesting to see if they change between Lupo's and House of Blues. I would kill to go to one of the crack rock steady type shows. Ezra Kire is godly.

I want to meet him. He seems pretty awesome. Also, go see The Imanginarium of Doctor Parnasus. He plays the devil!

I always like Tom Waits in movies - I just watched Wristcutters again - he's great in that.
