I don't really have a favourite. I'm at that stage where I only drink to get drunk and oh my god guinness? Eugh

My first choice is pretty much always Stella. Other than that, I like Alexander Keith's, Tankhouse, Saranac Pomegranate Wheat, and most Sam Adams brews.

something my brother-in-law introduced me to at the end of the summer -- Boris Bio Organic (links to info from the LCBO). ive also gotten hooked on Erdinger Hefeweizen while in Germany over the summer. Was served at the biergarten near Zoo Station. There is a dark as well as the light, i prefer (and drank a lot of) the light. i was happy to see that it was on the shelves at the local LCBO as well.

when i feel like a zoid(white trash) i turn to PBR, and drink away my pain!
They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn! |

spotted some "Ola Dubh Special Reserve 12" at the LCBO the other day and thought i would give it a go. 12 year old ale, aged in Highland Park whiskey barrels. I have to say its most definitely one of the more unique beers ive had. Heavy on the peat and fired wood, its not for everyone - but worth a try if you like a little adventure. http://beeradvocat.../profile/323/41037

Glad I found this forum. I'm new around here, but beer is my main hobby. I do a lot of trading with people online so I can try as much as possible. I've rated (on Ratebeer.com) over 1100 beers and have drank many more than that. Favorite types just depend on what I happen to be in the mood for. My favorite brewery is (somewhat) local, Cigar City Brewing from Tampa. Awesome brewery that has only been around a couple years now but making a good name for themselves. They distribute a little bit and should be all around the southeast soon.

Deschutes Hop Trip, my new favorite IPA. Fruity, with none of that inky aftertaste

Glad I found this as I'm a huge beer fan. I used to buy beer for this kid I worked with all the time for a few years until he turned 21. I would buy him whatever he wanted and he would pick me up a six pack of whatever in return. Literally, in about 3 years time I sampled everything the discount liquor store down the street from my work had. Some of the random microbrew's were pretty good (especially the seasonals), I'm really a fan of IPAs. However after all of that, and I know this might sound crazy but, I still like Pabst Blue Ribbon the best. I think there's a reason that stuff has been around so long, and it just seems to go so well with everything I do. Every now and then I'll get some Schmidt, and I've been known to pick up a 12er of Moosehead on occasion too.

New one for those in the GTA - still hard to find to some extent but it is finding it's way into LCBO's.
