Do your piercings effect you and UE? For me it does in a way, like I have to be careful when I'm climbing fences. I'm just scared that I will rip out my navel piercing. I heard you can buy these eyepatch things and put them over your navel and it will protect it.

Well , thats funny i never thoug about this. I imagine someone with the face full of big barbells and stuff geting caugth by police officer... you"ll look like a squatter and you"ll probably be treated like a shit .. hahhahaha

I haven't had a problem yet but if you're definitely hopping fences take them out for the trip if you can.
I hate all of you |

I wouldn't use a bandaid because it can still rip out because when I climb fences I climb them as fast as I can. But I don't think I would take out my navel piercing when I UE, I'm scared that it will close up.

I've never had any problems physically, but socially, having a lip piercing concerns me. I live in a VERY conservative town where lip piercings and the like are *ahem*...not looked upon kindly. If I go exploring a place where there is a risk I may be caught by the PD, I take it out. I know it sounds silly, but police are conditioned to make judgement calls on people in very short periods of time and I could see where having piercings could get you flagged as a "troublemaker." When I go exploring in the major (read more liberal) cities like DFW and Houston, I don't care because I know the police have better things to worry about.

I used to have a 4 guage apadravya and two 2 guage frenums. I was walking along some railroad tracks in winter without enough insulation in my lower abdominal area and the metal got uncomfortably cold once.

i once had the webbing between my thumb and forefinger pierced along as a serface piercing in my arm.... used to is the key here. after exploring Ithaca Gun factory for 6 hours i had to remove both due to the nasty apearence of both. so sad. but other then that ive never had problems... lip, septum and navel just chill out... but i have pulled my navel through 3 seperate times from not being careful.

RevSM, Allva, my girlfriend and I hit a gigantic location less than a week after I had gotten my Prince Albert - metal thieves, cops and caretakers showed up and we had to run... a lot. Wasn't fun.

Luckily for me, my piercings are all under clothing....no problems there.

Never had a problem. Though I think I'm getting my wrist pierced and that will make it a bit difficult.

I have several facial Piercings and the only one I have an issue with is my Labret, seems to get hung up sometimes on my mask.

I actually just got my cleavage pierced about . . . 2 weeks ago now. My piercer just told me to stay out of cave crawls for the next 5 to 8 weeks as it heals. He also did it a bit deeper than normal so hopefully it will stand up to a beating and not rip out of my chest. . .

No he did not. He just used a needle. Measured the tension in my chest and figured out placement and away we went. He has done a lot of "play" piercings . . . the most amusing one he has told me about was two CBRs above a man's ass, that were to be laced to three frenum piercings on the guy. A year later, and with heavy use the guy still has them. I've got a lot of trust in my guy It was funny, it was the first time I've actually had to have the chair reclined to get a piercing, so I couldn't watch in the mirror, and as he is working the needle through a guy pops his head in the room and asks what he is up too and my piercing tells him he is in the middle of a surface piercing so the guy asks where and steps in as the piercer says "Cleavage". So the guy comes in and looks and is surprised to see I am just laying in the chair clam as all hell with my arms to the side. And asks how I am doing. I answer that I'm fine, its not nearly as bad as it probably looks. The piercer tells him its going well, as I actually fucking listen and am not letting my body tense or flinch. I was/am proud of my self for that.
