Occasionally you see the truck, but usually only at events.
The personal responsibility train left the station years ago, and you gave it the finger as you watched it leave. |

how do you take this seriously fer fucks sake! was this a UVM or Champlain College weenie-mobile? It's not wearing red plates, so I am assuming it's Champlain College rent-a-fuzz. Actually, where as this taken... I don't recognize it. (UVM cops have red plates)
|
All municipal vehicles have red plates in Vermont. I got to champlain and our security vehicles have amber lightbars. I have no idea where that is and I don't recognize the vehicle or the town. WHACKER is the term we in the emergency services field use to describe a car thats decked to the nines with lights, especially those that are amber/green or is a security vehicle.

Besides, this must be a fake. Everyone knows that FBI only uses unmarked black vans/SUVs with tinted windows. Tijmen

FBI Police are actually in charge of ensuring the safety and security of FBI office buildings. Glorified security.

Like these guys. I see them running around downtown all the time, since we have a federal courthouse here. Security guards.

Posted by bourbonbaby FBI Police. Really?! Wha? Why?.... Great...

FBI are the Federal police. They are a branch of Police. However, this particular car seems to be an FBI security guard car.

Chris...
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |

In the Netherlands, the state police used to have a few dozen POrsche 912 Targa's for interceptions: . However, they seem to have donned them. According to this blog, they've had Lamborghini's, Spykers and Rolls, however this must've been one-offs. Now they have a lot of VW Golf's Tijmen

Wow...That little outhouse looking building in the background looks *awfully* familiar. Where was that? I've seen it a hundred million times before, and now I'm drawing a blank as to why I know that building...
Casual mysterious. |

up until the mid 2000's, the New York State Police used to run Chevrolet Camaro Z28's as interceptors on the interstate. You weren't getting away from them or the 9C1 Caprices that were still running around.

I've not got any photographic proof but some British forces supposedly used E-Type Jaguars in the 1960s for Motorway patrols. Even the MkII Jags were capable of 120-5 mph, & were popular with both sides of the law, like Citroen Traction Avants in France. The 70 mph limit was introduced in 1967, & before then many owners of high performance cars (& ton-up boys on their cafe racers!) were tempted to see how fast they could go.
