In Ohio, you have to have a special extra license to sell beer and wine on Sunday, and even then it can only be sold after 1 p.m. No liquor at all. I'm seeing two concerts in June on Sundays.

And yes, Hitler was into a lot of weird occult crap, along with his buddies. They even made a role-playing game out of it. Weird War, I think it's called.

I think that law is by city; I can get hard liquor here on Sunday, maybe the 1pm thing, but I was shocked that I could get liquor at all.

It's only a problem if you're in Ohio, or somewhere else they don't sell until 1pm. They can sell it in MA at noon, but the liquor store guy wouldn't let me in at 11:55 even to look around. I couldn't even get in until noon. Here in NH all hard liquor is sold by the state, I'm not even sure if the stores are open at all on Sundays, but I assume they are.

Much like alot of stuff about Hitler, the idea that he was heavy into occultism is dubious and often pushed by conspiracy theorists.

Yeah, I got a problem. I work 10 PM to 11 AM most days.

Including Sundays.

Actually the data on occult interests in the Nazi upper ranks is pretty good. The real information has been blown up by Hollywood for the last several decades for movie plots so now when it comes up everyone kinda rolls their eyes. But the interest was genuine at the time, especially with Himmler.

Just a thought on the religion thing though...what do you think would have happened if the organized conspiracy to protect religious leaders that molest kids had been uncovered among Jews instead of Catholics? Just wondering...
