I've owned two 3G Accords - an 88 LXi 5 speed sedan, and an 88 DX 5 speed coupe.
I miss both of them. Except for the popup headlights munching harnesses anyway. Even a broken timing belt didn't completely kill my LXi - didn't bend any valves whatsoever, so a new belt and water pump later it was driving again (and fuck the guy who sold it to me claiming it had a new timing belt.. it was original).
The LXi got stolen, while my roommate borrowed the DX and kept driving it after a radiator hose popped. Head gasket was so far gone after that, that it was pissing coolant out from between the head and block.

I have a cam, cam gear, header, and exhaust going on. I'm going to install a decent sound system, make the interior nicer, and get it painted. I have a set of wheels I need to refinish and get tires for. The tires are really what's holding me up at this point, since $350 on tires right now isn't really in my budget.

Tires are finally on order. If I can unload my Jeep this week, I should be able to run this in the under $1000 class at the Grassroots Motorsports $2012 Challenge.

I got my wheels painted today. I think they look pretty nice, but they do need some wet sanding to make really nice. Considering the hard curb rash I dealt with on one, I'm pretty happy overall.
