There was one posted on here in the car finds of the day in a falling down garage at a house in Philly. After a few months of searching and bugging the fellow who posted the pics I tracked down the property owner to find out I was about a week too late . Sold the car but it went to a good home to a police officer in nj with a little car collection. Was a damn good deal for him too $5,000.

I had a customer with one when I worked at the Porsche shop. It was pretty pleasant to work on.

He was the original owner, and his biggest regret was having a car phone installed in 1990.

my grandmother had a car phone in her mercedes-benz back in the 90's it never worked but I can remember riding around pretending to make phone calls on it when I was 8 years old...that and it always smelled like fresh leather...such a strong smell

i looked at a 75 Vette that way... the fiberglass was delaminating badly... sad part was, the car really wasn't worth saving at that point.

I put my foot through the floor of my buddy's 87 when we were replacing the interior. Gave him lots of shit for that one, it was paper thin in some areas.

I looked at a fairly pretty one of that vintage about 10 years ago. The frame rot was incredible.

That DeLorean in the abandoned garage has some fucking pricey looking 1/4 panel damage. I don't think Maaco does much work with stainless.

DMC Houston has NOS rear panels for around $1,200 or they can get the dent out for a few hundred bucks, but that was a few years ago so prices might have gone up. However some damage will require full panel replacement.
