I currently own a Golden Retriever/Collie Mix. He is 13 years old, but he has got that "collie" face that makes him still look like a puppy.

In the past, I have owned a Cat, which I had for 3 months, and a pet bird which I had when I was 6.

Right now I have two cats (Babette and Nika) and a dog names Xena. They are the most adorable and loving animals I have ever met.

I used to have 2 cats, Cricket and Cally, and a dog, Cleo, that died.

Nismo, your dog is adorable I (or my parents, i guess) have 2 cocker spaniels, Crackers and Shady. They also have a mutt named Bear, who is 16. There is also Cuddles, the 19-year-old tabby. Then there's freddie, technically my older sister's, but he practically lives @ my parents'. there's a pic of him in the thread about strange things pets eat.

We used to have Homer, a fat brown-and-black tabby with 4 white socks. We had to give him away, and I haven't seen him since. he would sneak outside and I would have to go get him, since he only came to me. he was an asshole. don't you love animals?

i had a cocker named Holly; she had to be put to sleep when she was ten. we've also had a rabbit, a hamster, 3 parakeets, 5 ducks and geese, a turtle, fish, and an iguana.

my apartment doesn't allow cats or dogs, so I have a rabbit named Lambchop right now.

They don't allow cats or dogs, but have no problem with rabbits? That seems a little jacked up to me, because rabbits smell a *heck* of a lot worse if you forget to clean up their stuff.

I used to have a rabbit who passed away recently from very old age, I have three rats (used to be four but my oldest died yesterday,) and Nikita and I have three cats.

I've had mice, geckos, hampsters, fish all sorts of pets when I was growing up.

the landlord just doesn't want an animal that will make messes in the apartment. He specified "caged animals only," so i got a bunny. She actually doesn't smell that bad. but if she does start to stink i'll make her into a hat.

out of all the dogs I have met through fostering my staffordshire has been able to learn the most and has always been the best-tempered dog i've known, and it pains me to think that the ontario government now wants me to put a muzzle on her whenever I take her out. Its too bad our government refuses to see what the real problem with vicious dogs is (=> owners)

They only really smell bad if you forget to clean up their litter. Males are worse about that than females, too.

Chance: 14 year old american quarter horse. owned for 10 years this june.

frau: 6 year old female boxer. 18th. birthday present. annoying as hell, but too damn cute so she gets away with it.

hunny: 10 year old mutt dog. best behaved dog ever. great with kids.

edie: aprox. 5-6 year old mutt. we rescued her, so don't really know anything about her age/breed, so we're just guessing. we think she has been abused in the past, but I will never understand why because she's just so well behaved and sweet as could be.

biscuit: hamster I got in january. white & gold colour. loves terrorizing the dogs whenever possible, especially by ramming them while in his little ball.

little miss no-name: hamster I rescued last month. she has a lump on her chest, so we're not sure how much longer she has, but she's very sweet, and loves humans.

And I just added a mouse to my collection. HIs name is Raven.

I have and have had lots of pets, but UE related, a few years ago I had a basset hound named Basil that would drain with me. I have a big white fluffy mutt named Alice that caves with me. Her mother was half black lab half Japanese spitz and she looks kinda like a big white-with-black-patches/spots spaniel with a fluffy curly tail.

12 Chickens: I only named one Fuzzy

-A cat named YoYo, 2002-. Named for her jumping habit.

-A hamster named Hampy, 2001-2001. Bought October, died November.

-A hamster named Fluffy, 2001-2003. Nocturnal, didn't see much of him.

-Fish named Swimmer and Finny, 2002-2004. I released them when Swimmer turned white from his original orange.

-Snails, 2002-2005. One died and I released the other.
