Posted by Watcher That was the advertising copy for the film, you see. There isn't a lot of reason to believe it was real, especially since the actors have all gone on to appear in other things. But such is the way of the herd. *ZOMG! I saw it on teh intertubez! Itz must be reel! ZOMGWTFBBQ!*** EDIT: I bet the fake documentary they had on the SciFi Channel also convinced a lot of people that it was actually real. They never should have done that, IMO.

I know this is old but you misunderstand what i meant.... I mean is they say they casted actors to reinact footage of real footage bot released to the public.. that is their excuse to those who bring up that they were actors.

I was hiking in the area near Boonsboro, where it's supposed to take place, and there's nowhere near enough wilderness there for people to get lost in.
