I'd put a better band on it personally.

haha

i'm sick to death of metallica. they're the PepsiTM of music. sure, i know 'this album' was so great and 'that album' changed music as we know it and they pioneered and paved the way for a billion bands to come.. but.. the billions of bands to come weren't all that great either.

in my oh-so-humble opinion.

Exactly. Metallica today performs very little of their new material.... they know no one cares about it, so they have to play the stuff people can actually tollerate. That and Lars making a big deal about p2p sharing a couple of years ago was just ludicus. As if that nutsack doesn't make enough money, he stoops to the point of SUING HIS FANS, the only reason he has any money and the only reason people give a rat's ass about him and his stupid overproduced joke of a band in the first place. Metallica should've thrown in the towel after Black (which wasn't that great of an album) instead of this ridiculous 'revival / comeback' garbage. The only albums that sold even decently after Black were the ones they released of their material before they were signed and had Dave Mustaine as a vocalist. I'm not even going to get into the tour with corporate record company puppets and whores like Linchon Park, and even worse, Limp Bizkit.
Metallica WAS a great band.... but even Vanilla Ice knew when to give it up. I have no respect for these sellout has-beens.

if anything it would be off

Kill'em all
master of puppetts
Justice for all
ride the lightning
and their first release of garage days(not Garage Inc.)

the black album may have been good at one point, lets see when i was in grade six. To me now it just sucks and I WILL put it in the same class as Load and Re-load and st anger.

Metallica lost any credibility they had with the album "Load". After that, it was fluff.

Yeah, those all rock.

St-Anger was a big let down, however, frantic live kinda rocked when I saw them last October.
