I am sure there are some UE Parents out there, so I have decided to make a place for us... to discuss, rant, and let out all the stress that parenthood can bring.

Intro's about your kids would be helpful and appreciated.

You know the rules and stuff about forums, so please respect each other and no judging.. everyone is different...

Let the forum begin....

Cool! The majority of my friends dont have kids, so its hard for them to understand that my hobbies dont come first. Most of them give me a hard time about it. There are a few friends ive made here on UER who do have kids and fully understand that kids come first. Yogsosoth and Minister Mud are these guys

Great idea Squidjit. I hope we can banter about the finer aspects of raisin' these little ones we love when they are angels, and want to scream when they are not.

I can't imagine a high population of UER frequenting this forum, but I know I will.

Thanks for the invite. It is hard to mention kids on UER. Many here have not started a family yet and just don't get it. Great idea.

I understand the majority of the members here on UER do not have children.. but every time I would discuss my child in the Chat section, everyone would block me out, or criticize me.

I am glad I made a place where we can join as parents and discuss issues, rant and just plain brag about our young ones..

Thanks for the invite! I have few friends that understand that I can't always leave because of family things. But the person I go explore with the most understands. His girlfriend has 3 kids, so he is very understanding. We try to get together once a week, but you know how that is...

I myself have 3 beautiful children. One boy, aged 7, and two girls, aged 5 and 5 months. They are great to take along on easy trips, and when I am scouting, they don't whine about having to sit in the car. What better companions than your kids? I just wish they weren't so clumsy so we could go to some better places. LOL.

Hello and and thanks for the invite!

My wife and I are expective our first kid next summer. I will have our first pic on 12/11/2007.

I have many questions but wont be to much of a pest, but I do have a concern.

She is Vegan, how does that play into the nutrients and development of the baby?

If anyone out there doesnt know what being "vegan" is, its not eating/wearing/using anything that came from or hurts animals. No dairy, meat, leather, etc.

I totally support her but I would think there are necessary things that cannot be made by soy or other things.

Has anyone here vegan or know someone with kids that are vegan?

Thanks,

Brian

Welcome and Congrats! If your wife is healthy the baby will be too, well except beyond normal development issues. Babe takes from mom what he needs. However, if you are concerned by all means talk to the OB-GYN for sure. G to the Race and DevilC I think are more into that sort of thing than I am.

No need to worry about being a pest. Ask away. That is what this forum is for. It has been too quiet here.
