what really pisses me off is not that illegal immigrants take our jobs, but when they take our jobs and dont know our language. I was at fantastic sam's and I asked the cashier if they sold hairbrushes and she didn't know what the fuck I was talking about. She spoke Spanish or something and she was talking to the other employee and that other woman din't know what the hell I was talking about either. Lets just say I left that store and didn't come back.

When you say 'our jobs' you imply that you'd actually work in some shit-hole for minimum wage. Would you? Would you also put up with xenophobic bullshit about immigrants taking (y)our jobs?

They don't just steal your tax money, take our jobs, commit a felony by crossing our border, and work undocumented. They also stole and used the identities/social security numbers of many hard-working american citizens just because they didn't WANT to enter this country legally. Entering this country legally is pretty fucking easy unless you don't deserve to be here, thats when your immigration papers get revoked.

If the situation in Mexico is that bad, they should stand up to their government and demand change like we did in 1776. Now the answer is illegal immigration. Why do any work when you can exploit those who do? And who are they to demand that we speak spanish? Almost all immigrants from all other countries actually wanted to become part of our culture and learn our language, but no, we are hispanic, we can't do shit for ourselves. If I moved to spain, I would learn spanish. If I were to demand they spoke english to me I would be fucking rude.

heh, I'd stay out of this one if I were you. Its not just the jobs, its everything. You have no idea how bad its getting in Denver and it's probably worse in Texas.

We have that problem, but I don't complain because I don't eat McDonalds... I do however make the occasional stop at Taco Bell and when I order a taco, I usually end up with some sort of taco shell covered with chocolate and has an ice-cream interior...wtf?

Why make them learn the "language of the land" when we didn't?

no offense, but cherokee was an ancient language and we quickly would have gone to something else because most people already knew english/german.

What does age of the language have to do with it? And no, at the time Europeans came to North America, most people here didn't know english/german, the white man just expected others to cater to them by learning english.

You want to keep buying hamburgers for 99 cents. 99 cent hamburgers don't just grow on trees -- they grow on the backs of low-wage immigrants.

I'm sick and tired of hearing all these people in the U.S. whining about immigration. What in the fuck do you think the U.S. is? A country of Native Americans? No. Everyone here is an immigrant.

And legal immigration is a joke. You have to be a member of the elite in your home country, you have to have a college degree, etc. etc.

I know this will piss some people off, but it's what I believe. Sure, we shouldn't be paying their taxes, but if we made it easier for them to legally work as non-residents while taxing them, we wouldn't have that problem now, would we?

What's to understand? The menu hasn't changed that radically in 30 years. "Fries with that" shouldn't be too challenging to translate.

Seriously...? THAT sounds sexy. I'd take 'papas fritas con that' over 'you want fries with that' any time. Makes the food sound vury continental.

Yes, but there is no word for what we call French Fries, so that's what they call them.

tu quieres papas fritas con eso?

HA HA. Si.

Google translator says "tu quieres papas fritas con eso?" means:

"your you want chipses with that? "

I didn't know "chips" had a plural plural.

Now I'm TOTALLY fucked up. Who knew ordering shitty food from a shitty company from a non-English speaking immigrant could be soooo complicated.
