| | | Posted by David Dong I was at the bar the other night, I was smoking a cigarette and some stupid lady was doing the "dramatic cough" and started waving her hard to waft away the smoke. She never said it bothered her, but she was being a total bitch about it. Talking to other people saying things like "In MD, where I am from you cant smoke in restaurants" all loud to try to "shame" me into putting it out. In the end I decided to put out the cigarette, so I could light up a cigar.
| Heheh, nice! Yeah, if you're allowed to do it, GO FOR IT. People like that kill me. My fave bar in Michigan didn't allow djarums. What the hell! Around my smoking friends, I always had a pack so I could pseudo smoke. And they tasted good. But - I never inhaled. Many failed attempts at smoking pot, too - I just CAN'T smoke. The only thing I can manage is a tiny itty bitty mini dose of salvia, which is legal in California. But, even that makes me toss my cookies sometimes. I grew up in a house filled with secondhand smoke. My mom probably smoked with me...and let's see...I remember growing up, I was cleaning the wall and the blinds and there were LAYERS of yellow gunk on them (we had the old wood panels). The blinds were so gross I threw them in the tub. Only to have to do it again a few months later. But as for the bar - most bars have excellent filtration systems that cost them a buttload of money to maintain with filters, electricity, etc. The only place where a cigar really bothers me is at CalNeva. Seems like everyone always has one and plops down next to me at the video poker games. I can breathe fine, but then I can't see!!! L
