When did you get the Fiero? It's a nice one... GT, too!

I used to work with the president of the Ontario Fiero Association, and have always kind of had a soft spot for them.

Had the fiero up to 210km+ (130mph) for a little.

130 in a Fiero... that must be a 5speed car then.
i remember my friend Ray had an 87 Fiero GT fastback and it had the old school 4speed Muncie box in it... top speed was about 110-115 at about 6600RPM! But damn did it get their quick. By the by, that transmission came in old school Z24's, Celebrity Eurosports, Citation/X11's/XS'... and what divisions' cars corrosponded to those body lines.

i've always had a soft spot (in my head) for the Fiero and Citation X11... i will have one one of these days.

I had it a while ago, sold it to my father.

Have a family now can't afford to keep it up and use it with only two seats. I'll be getting another one later when I have the space and cash to work on one.

Yes, and it purred all the time.

Barry (co-worker/prez. of the Fiero Club) always told me they were made out of plastic, so all they could do was appreciate in value.

This one day, Barry, my friend Kyle and I are in a scrapyard, and there was a pile of squashed 4 cylinder, notchback Fieros. Kyle said "Look, Barry! They're appreciating as we speak!"

My friend Jeff has a nice 5 speed, burgundy GT... bought it 3 years ago and it still had the original tires. This car is MINT.

are you trying to make me cry?
the first engine I ever built was for an 86 Fiero 2M4... it was a 2.5L Tech 4.

Swapping a stick into it is out of the question now?

Absolutely NOT! Basically, the back of a Fiero (cradle) is the same as the cradle out of an A/X body (celebrity/citation)... manual transmissions bolt right to it, but you need to see how the linkages run

The most fun road I've ever been on is one called Flinton Rd., just north of Tweed, Ontario... it's about 20 km long, with about 200 corners, and really smooth pavement.

My ex lived in Flinton, and when ever we got in an argument while driving, I'd take that road... she'd always quiet down a bit.

man. ever taken that in a beat up Comanche with bad balljoints and a dying 2.5l?

worst thing I ever did was sell that truck. It was a purple longbed with more rust holes than solid metal. my tempo can't take that road at all.
