| | | come on, you were all waiting for this, weren't you? Waiting to see what i was going to get for a winter beater? No? Eh, eat me then... tis the season for winter beaters and schemes to obtain one. After shopping around metaphysically wednesday and thursday, my brother called me and told me where a 1998 Chevy Cavalier was located for sale for the sum of $500 US. So, i go an look at it, not a bad car, engine is quiet. Will need a headgasket down the road, but it's just seeping where all the 2.2L OHV's seep. So, i purchased myself a 1998 Chevy Cavalier sedan. Color... oh this is the capper! The color is beige. (Chevy calls it some gold in the catalog from 98) And it has a tan interior. 2.2L OHV/ 4speed automatic. 130,000 miles it's not in that bad of a shape. pics to follow when I get it home.

| | | Yeah I'm still driving the Tercel in this crap weather, because I need a fender for my winter car. (Not because it needs replacing, it's just not there... and I honestly am not sure what happened to it.) It's pretty scary in the snow, as it weighs nothing, has super wide, low pro tires, more power than it is supposed to, and a pretty big suspension drop... plus I drive 115 km to work, one way, every day.

| that's the problem with the Cobalt... too low, too wide a tire, way too much power, not enough traction FROM the tires it does have... Tomorrow I am taking my Mom's Silverado to work. Luckily it's 4WD. blah. cars suck. all of them!!!
