No experience with the Lian-Li, but I can tell you that the P182 is not quiet.

I have the earlier version of this model, it should be quiet.

http://www.directc...anufacture=LIAN-LI

You want a solid door on the front and preferably 120 mm fans to reduced their noise. Lian-Li makes top notch cases.

If the case is serving it's function, for now, I'd leave it be.
I also have the Antec 190 which is similar to the 182, read some reviews for it, but it should be fairly quiet if your PS is, and if you turn the fans to a lower setting. The 190 is very quiet with it's fans set to low, it has good ventilation as well.
The front door isn't as nice as the solid extruded Al door that Lian-Li uses.

Still for this much money you could get a big juicy hard drive for data, or a 1500 Raptor for an OS HD.

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.
