My son's principal called this morning. It appears he and another young fellow where caught planning their escape from school to go to an 800-year old well in the area. You go, Jakester! LOL @ telling the principal that I was actually kind of proud of the boy. Kind of cool how they used there imaginations to come up with a destination. His mother is not so supportive of his planned excursion and will dole out "no TV" for a week. Thank God, actually. I was getting sick of SpongeBob anyway.

I had to laugh @ "800-year old." He's six and his co-conspirator is seven, LOL @ them knowing of such places. I don't even know of such places.

Sweet!!!! Lil guys's imaginations are a wonderful thing. I was always amazed with what my little man could come up with when you gave him a roll of tape, a stack of paper plates and a box of straws. Better keep an eye on him G .

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.

thats is awesome. The no TV is a bit harsh though.

I used to ditch school and get in trouble for far worse things.

I once convinced another kid to jump out a window ( only on the 2nd floor )and sad I would let him in down stairs. I actually told the principle the kid was trying to skip school and he got suspended.

They believed what I sad because the other kid was always in trouble.

Yeah, we've rethought "no Tv," it doesn't need to be a huge deal, but he needs to know when he's @ school he should be in his classroom. Anyway, I think the school overreacted and should've just told them to get to class. Oh well, Jakester, welcome to the society of surveillance.

My little explorer got off w/virtually no punishment. Anyway, he has pink eye now, and has kept me from working the past two days.

I bought Kiddo a magnifying glass and a telescope. What a masterstroke: TV is boring now, and every activity must be conducted outside, in the fresh air, under the sun/rain and either VERY close or VERY far away.

pink eye rocks. I used get in on purpose just so I didnt have to go to school.
I would feel fine and just spend the day outside skateboarding.

That's awesome. I think four is nearly the perfect age--they can pee and poop on their own and you don't have to carry them too much. Mine dude is 6, he can already mouth off and has homework. It's Ok, but the full-time fun stuff is gone. We still have fun and he can use language like a master, but the little one is gone. *Cries*
