My pet peeves:

- people who talk too loud in the library while you're trying to work
- fat people who wear too tight jeans and when they sit down, it looks like their back is another ass and its hanging over their pants
- when schools say that they give out admissions on a certain date ( I called them), but then by that date when you still receive nothing, you email them, and they say "oh, we've changed the date to this date"
- when my husband sits on his ass all the time and I do everything around the house..and he tells me to tell him when things need to be done! Why cant he just take the initiative to just do some chores without having me to ask?

Because you let him. Any time he asks you to do something and you do it, you're telling him that it's okay to treat you like a maid.

He doesnt ask me to do anything.. when i get home from work and he's not home, sometimes I don't mind doing the dishes or the laundry.... but it's the fact that he never offers to help out. I am starting to let the dishes pile up in the sink until he does them.

Another one from me.

When you're in a conversation, another person barges in without so much as an "Excuse me" and you're pushed out of the conversation.

That happened to me yesterday. I was passing on some info to a co-worker prior to being relieved at the desk for lunch when a lady came up to the desk and literally shoved me to one side. They then started talking in Portugese. I almost made a few salty remarks, remembered that I was at work, the guy I was speaking with worked for our client and the woman was one of the tenant employees so I just walked away.

A simple excuse me would have sufficed or at least wait until I was finished.

Clients that say "Im not really worried about the cost/price", and when you then offer them the highest priced item all of sudden they get worried about the cost/price.

Don't get me started, this could be a long list. Heh.

-Obese women who wear revealing clothes, then accuse you of checking them out when you look at them with disgust.

-Asshole teenagers who have their shitty rap music blared through their headphones on the bus.

-Assholes who buy subwoofers for their cars. Shit should be illegal, since they always drive in at 3 in the morning and all you hear is bass, and you can't get to sleep.

-Asshole teenagers who crank the volume on their stereos in an apartment building.

-People who use the "no english" excuse in this country. Learn it, or get out.

-People on disability for really stupid reasons.

My ex girlfriend's mom was on disability because she's paranoid or something. She's perfectly capable of working, yet she sits around and does nothing. Same with my ex girlfriend, who was also on disability. Perfectly capable of working and yet doesn't.

-People who bring their kids to theatres. And people who can't keep their kids quiet. 1 reason why I hate taking the bus, there's always someone with a whiney baby or toddler.

That's all for now.

Exactly! I'm tired of Canada becoming a warehouse for immigrants. If they're escaping their hellhole homeland the least they can do is learn of our two official languages. There are some areas of Toronto that are definitely non-English and non-French, and I don't mean simply "Little Italy". I'm talking about de facto enclaves of their homeland, now placed in Canada. That's kinda sad.

Gawd...we have SO many people like that here. I've ranted about this here many times,my boyfriend's ex and her entire fucken' family are like that. No problem sitting around for her entire life breeding, selling her medication, growing her ass to maximum density while watching Maury, hitting the neighbourhood drive thrus every day or Walmart on cheque day but is too 'depressed' to work.

/End rant.

Indeed. Canada needs to stop bending over backwards for immigrants. 60 years ago when European immigrants came to this country they were expected to get a job, learn the language and thank the lucky stars for the opportunity to be in such a wonderful country where you're free to think however you wish, to do however you wish, and to have faith in whatever you wish.

To say this is taken for granted today is a gross underestimation.

(edited way down cause I got a little too carried away)

I just went into detail on how the current state of immigration is and how truly un-appreciative of our country (and yours) some people are. I also introduced my thoughts on a "probationary period" for new immigrants that would require them to follow the damn law.

Really, I best not get into it though. Last time I did it didn't go so awesomely and I'd rather not get banned for it.

It isn't like that everywhere. The government needs to crack down on who gets disability. It's honestly very difficult in many places. I have a friend who needs to down like five times the calories of a normal person to stay alive, yet he can't get disability. Even if he drinks special shakes and stuff, it still takes a lot of time to eat all that, and most employers are not going to let you have three lunchbreaks...but he manages to go to work.

I hate freeloaders.

These are more UE Forum based

- People who can't keep private locations private because they need the pat on the back and validation thinking that they are the only ones who have ever been in a location since no one else has talked/posted about it.

- People who go to other cities and without PM'ing local explorers just make a public post about all the locations they will be attempting to do and whine when no one responds

- People who make dumb posts, and when you kindly PM them explaining why it's a bad post they get all bent out of shape. I'm not talking about the stupid posts like "do I need a note from my mommy or my daddy to explore?" but more "Should I bring the crowbar or the hammer when I break into the Hospital"

- Like Firequall said, people who can't use the Edit/Modify button on their posts and instead make multiple posts after their original to correct/add/respond to something else instead of doing it in one post. Sure it might get a little long but does each quote that you are responding to need it's own post? Maybe it's just me.

- People who quote posts that are directly before theirs. I just don't understand this one because I just read their post, why do you need to repost it to respond? I can understand if you quote one line out of a large post but to repost the whole thing or a small post just baffles me.

- People who think they are god's gift to exploring and/or photography.

- People who think you NEED a camera to be a great explorer.

- People who don't seem to try and spell words correctly so that they can communicate with the rest of us, even though most forums have spell check installed. The internet is not your alphabet/language shit box so stop shit typing already or I'm going to start taking it as acts of war. You've been warned.

- People who are overly protective of locations and call the cops on other explorers. I can understand wanting to keep out punk kids, scrappers, and taggers but when you call the cops on other explorers just because you either, A.) don't like them or B.) don't think they are l33t enough to do "your" building, then that is just sad. (This also includes people who call the cops on meets. Don't be emo just because they wouldn't let you play in any of the reindeer games) I wholeheartedly believe in UE Karma and what goes around comes around.

- People who bitch about not being a special color ranking on smaller forum websites

- Female explorers who:
* demand to be driven back to the hotel so they can take a shower when no one else is taking a shower
* spend a lot of time putting on make up when they are going to be crawling around in dirty buildings and make us late
* whine about stupid stuff like "i dont like camping", "i hope no boys see me like this", "is my hair ok?"
* wear clothes that they THINK they look cute in but can't explore in
* need everyone to like them the best because they are a girl explorer and thus everyone must want to explore with them by default. I'm sure I come off as a cunty, curmudgeonly old bitch and I'm ok with that.
* use UE as a whore-banging service
I'm a girl explorer and I just don't understand why girls like this get into the hobby. I know I'm probably a little harsh on them, but seriously, it makes the 2% of us awesome UE girls look bad.
