	I honestly think I have a problem with collecting things... I mean, not all of those cars have been roadworthy, and lately, I've really slowed things down. In fact, I think think I've only bought once car so far in 2008. Oh, and my Spitfire was in terrible condition... got it for $200, sold it for $500 to a guy who's restoring it. While on a French kick why not the Renault 4CV or the Dauphine?

Well, there is one guy in Loveland, OH that owns one (name's Fred), and maybe another... I cant remember. there is another one that's white around here that I saw a few years ago at our car show... And they apparently exchange hands fairly frequently here in the US.

As for a 4CV or Dauphine: The 4CV I've never been too attracted to... It looks too much like a Morris Minor, and if I wanted that, I'd buy a bloody Morris! lol I could do a Dauphine though. It's just hopelessly slow! The DS at least came with the 2.3L engine that had decent torque, and it can cruise a highway OK enough, unlike my SAAB... I'm kinda getting tired of always worrying about how much oil the engine is getting while I'm driving it quickly... and the fact that it is WAY hopelessly slow (60lb ft @ 4,000rpm, and being a 2-stroke it's kinda peaky).

Plus the DS is easily one of the most beautiful cars in history (IMHO), and they have AWESEOMELY comfortable seats! OMG it's like a La-Z-Boy!
