How to get rid of unwanted houseguests...

Okay, here's the thing..

One of my roommates sister, her boyfriend, and, a few nights, his drunk mom have been staying with us for SEVEN days now with no sign of leaving. He refuses to tell her to get the fuck out, because its "his sister" or so he says. Yet, he talks about how she steals, he doesn't like her, and etc.

She and her boyfriend sit on MY (all the furniture, tvs, and mostly everything else belong to me) couch..using our internet/computers.. watching whatever they want on T.V., and eating all our food. (literally i bought a 2lb loaf of bread two days ago. there are TWO slices left)

I understand this is his family, and would be okay if she was planning on getting a job and then leaving... or anything in sight. But no.

Being as how i work second shift i get home late and would like to just sit on the couch and watch t.v, however someone is already asleep on my couch normally by 11:30 pm. Last night i came home to find her boyfriend passed out in the floor in front of my computer desk.

How would you go about getting rid of your unwanted house guests without the help of your roommates? what would you say to try and get your roommates to listen? Any advice short of murdering them will be halpful, thank you.

love
a cunt.

I'd start like this:

BITCH. GET OUT. ALL OF YOU. TOOT SWEET.

then proceed to throw whatever redneck belongings they have out the door.

tabarnac.

Yes, when i do this her brother will go batshit, because we all pay an equal amount of rent he therefor thinks his redneck family can live here.

Honestly your only option is to be blunt and tell them to GTFO. I know it's easier said than done, but any kind of sugar coated approach will just lead them to walk all over you some more.

Just because he pays his amount of the rent doesn't mean he can bring his entire family along (unless of course he wants to pay their share of the rent as well)

Yeah I'd tell your roommate that if 4 people are going to live there, you're only paying 1/4 of the rent.

But I'd tell all of them to leave, roommate included.

Well then,he wouldn't mind when you excitedly tell him how cheap your portion of rent will be,once the rents divvied up between everyone there! ;0

Of course this won't happen though, because those who so blatantly take advantage of others would find it 'rude' to have to pay rent.

I feel for ya and I'm not sure what you should do,though I hope something's done fast, for your sake. My sister had a houseguest show up six months ago. He does the same thing that your 'guests' are doing. After a month, she told him he'd have to pay and he agreed to do so,after the third month. He's paid a total of two months thus far,and shows no signs of budging.

~Stewie and KONG beat me to it,but yeah, same sentiment.

Yes, Stewie, I agree. I can talk until i am blue in the face, but that doesn't make them LEAVE.

They have both been in the SAME clothes, also. So i don't think being really messy will get them out.

Neither of them have jobs nor have they been looking for them. I tried to make the compromise that she (JUST HER sans boyfriend) could stay for a few weeks if she got a job and had a plan to leave. Because shes basically a lump, meaning she has no personality, at all.

There are already four people living there. Its a large three bedroom house. Including them there is six people - sometimes seven staying there. Along with two full grown dogs, a brand new puppy they brought home, and a freaking cat.

Say the landlord has noticed more people living there than was originally intended and they must go or it is a violation of the terms of the lease.

Show up at 9:30 with 15 dollars cash and your fingers crossed.

Start taking dumps on their things.

At first, do it secretly, and deny any knowledge of it.

Then after a day or two, just start doing it right in front of them: Drop your pants and shit on their stuff.

However, and this is key, continue to deny any knowledge of it.

I have the same living arrangements - 3 BR house, 4 roommates, (only one dog)... but I've been catching hints from one roommate that his girlfriend will become a permanent new addition when she finishes school this spring. I will definitely be using the strategy that Wiccan offered - I can't wait to excitedly tell him how happy I will be to only pay 1/5th of the rent and utilities for the whole summer!

I think you should act as if you just assume all rent and utilities will now be divided by 6, since there are now 6 people living there. Good Luck...

If your equal roommates, (and you said most of the stuff there is yours) then why do you not get a say in this?

Or is it futile because its his "family"?

Where did they come from and why can't they go back "there"?

I guess the most sensible thing would be to have a REAL talk with your roommate about the ridiculousness of all those additional people living there, FOR FREE no less. And then come up with a "vacancy" date that you can both agree on.

If that doesn't work, let the shit hit the fan.

Or let the shit hit their stuff, like Mutant said. If they even have any stuff . . . . .

Obtain drugs, hide in their belongings, call police with suspicions.

WIN.
