There are times that I was in a situation where I didn't agree with an explorer did. I gave my stance then walked away. I made a mental note not to explore with this person again. You can't change people ethics.. All you can do is follow your own!

I have an issue with a certain member bragging before the incident that damaging a location is fun. Then they say..Oh "poor me" ... I'm innocent ....I had nothing to do with it or even knew what happened but then proceeded to post a photo of the poop somewhere on the internet.

It would be one thing if certain people involved were innocent. This same member was bragging about damage they did with the explorer that did the greystone pooping at Norwich & vandalism at Hudson! They knew who exactly who they were exploring with & what their ethics were. Then was bragging about the situation until they realized that this time the pooping explorer stepped over
over the line & this wasn't just some other abandoned building that no one cared about & the cops were involved...Now this member is singing a different tune!

I have seen a lot of people brag about vandalizing and destroying things. The funny thing is when something really bad happens and a bunch of people get caught, like Paisley said people change their tune.
A lot of people will go out of their way to defend themselves and others thinking "hey this person is my friend so they must be innocent or didn't deserve getting punished". And "I was with them but had no control over the situation".

You choose who you explore with. No one forces you. If something is going down that you don't like, get in your car and go home. I don't have pity for anyone who plays innocent on the internet but still keeps exploring with the same type of people who are destructive.

You choose who you are friends with and who you trust. I explore with friends when I explore with anyone. And I trust my friends.

And this is an important point: I do not trust them because they are my friends -- They are my friends because I trust them.

If you are friends with shitheads, then you are a shithead. It is really not very complicated.
