I am acutely aware of her cycles, and I plan/govern myself accordingly. Typically, I book a ticket to the farthest reaches of the country and bury myself in a deep hole for the week, where I survive on bitter fear and internalized torment.

I buy a lot of booze and weed, and load up on antidepressants. I rent her a bunch of cheesy Jennifer Aniston flicks a few litres of frozen yogurt and then I vow to not say a single word for the entire week.

I think its a very bad time to be around, if one can be elsewhere, that's awesome. Back in college I would actually try to schedule dates with other girls.

The age and location is for them males. So we can see the difference in cultures/age differences.

Cool. Nice to hear you two decided to work it out. This probably means your kid won't turn into a future member of F/RoX.

Sam usually tries to stay away for a week, mostly because I'm either ready to kill him or crying my eyes out over nothing.

Just wait though...everybody in their 20's...it gets more fun around my age. Your body starts staging a revolt. Trust me, it'll happen. I'm going through it. The PMS weeks are getting longer as the times when you're sane get shorter.

I can't wait for menopause, seriously.

I think all guys should stay away when I have PMS. I get VERY very emotional. Those emotions can range from crying for nearly no reason at all to fits of anger and rage... that means stuff gets thrown... most likely at male figure

Ya a lot of girls in my women health class are crazy bitches they say o.o....You know research is saying that men have their own form of PMS in a sense too!

I don't ever really get angry at people.
I just get very, very sad. I cry over nothing, become irrationally scared of my worst fears coming true, etc.

I don't understand the whole throwing things at the male deal. Unless I'm throwing myself at him.

They get really hungry, for weird foods. Sleep odd hours, do little work (fuckin' poor study buddy at this point). Weird foods, like:

Grits, with bacon, rice, and eggs mixed in.
a whole pineapple. I mean, eating until her mouth bleeds from the acid and sharp bits.


The other one I'm around a lot takes birth control to suppress her period because it usually incapacitates her for days. Her description is: "Crying, but it hurts to cry, can't get comfortable but it moves to hurt, want cupcakes despite milk allergy." Yeah, this one's spacey.

Generally I'd say more impulsive. More likely to pig out on pizza, or launch a cryfest, or snap at people, etc. Very susceptible to home-made fudge.

The crying thing happens a lot to me. It happens a lot in general lately. I get about two good weeks a month, the last two are the shitty ones when I can barely function outside of work. Sam gets afraid to talk to me because of that, doesn't matter what he says, usually I'm in tears within a few minutes.

I get on a sugar kick. Anything sweet, doesn't matter what it is, even if I shouldn't eat it, I do anyway.

Birth control makes it worse for me, I get mood swings worse than I normally get and I can barely see straight. My periods are easier, but the PMS is worse, much much worse. I usually spend three or four days worried and pissed off about EVERYTHING. Then I spend four days crying about EVERYTHING, then my period shows up, I feel a little better, but then I spend another 4 days crying about everything else I forgot to cry about.
