I hate to be the barer of bad news, but we were talking about Durham, Ontario and not the Durham, North Carolina your probably thinking of. Although your more than welcome to join us if we can finally get something together, thats quite a ways to trek. Johnson City, TN to Durham, NC is about 4-5 hours and Johnson City, TN to Durham, ONT is about 12 hours. I'm sure that's quite the longer roadtrip than you originally expected.

I'm in! If you do this, I'll drive over from Johnson City, TN and stop in Charlotte to pick up Aurelie, and would be up for driving more people. I could likely get TummyAcid to come with me too and maybe the_only_ole. I know a few locations over there. AppleSnail knows more. Also talk to Avius, uLiveYouBurn, DJ Drew, Mascarah and Shutter.

hahaha. seems we're all confused. these cats are from canada. scroll up and you'll see anapplesnail getting all cozy. we need a north carolina board. yep.

Ah very good to know. We are still in the process of getting something together. It's just hard with peoples different schedules. Hopefully we can arrange something in the next little while.

As i has mentioned in another post maybe we could checkout some places in north pickering. I know of a few that look interesting, some of which are boarded up by "the man" though so those ones are a little iffy, but could still be adventuresome nonetheless. Anyone else think it might be worthwhile trip to check some of them out?

In my opinion the pickering airport lands are pretty much a write-off. Security patrols the area and with a big group we'd be noticed for sure. The last time I tried to check out a place up there security was waiting for me at the end of the driveway as I came out. That was a couple years ago so I`m not sure what it`s like now. Fedge posted something more recently about the area so he may have a better idea of the accessibility

It's sort of like a canned hunt on the PAL. I mean, I loved exploring that area but it's like shooting fish in a barrel. We should probably move on to something a bit more challenging. I love that area however...

I know of a semi-decent location in Pickering. It's become our new haunt since our Church St house in Ajax got demo'd. It's not super exciting though.

Great, the more the better. I would honestly like to have a Durham meet and then a bbq somewhere afterwards, but let's focus on getting the meet together first and then eventually maybe having a bbq after one in the future.

Speak up...we know you want a Durham meet, let's make it happen!

Ok i'm gone from Oct 8-11th to Ohio to see my girlfriend. Any Friday or Saturday would work for me now unless they flip my days off! I like the BBQ Idea!
