They were Fiero based (but not a kit) and I think under 200 were built.

I definitely see the Fiero in it now.

It's funny, I had the name of it on the tip of my tongue for like an hour, went to bed, and thought of it.

I guess no one is going to get the black one I posted, it's a 1966 Duesenberg. The brand was revived and orders were placed, they built one car, then some lawsuit occurred with the sales wing of the operation wanting their money and the car was sold or something weird like that. It then sat in a museum and is now owned by a collector. That was a brochure rendition but there is a real life one.

That's the Coyote from Hardcastle & McCormac! (Manta Montage kit car)

Those were styled after a McLaren though right?

Tracker, The original Manta was mid V8 powered, and a McLaren replica.
The Manta Montage came out a bit later and was VW based (cheaper) It looks different than the original manta, but might still be based on a McLaren.

Bandi, Correct on the Coyote/Montage.

The motorcycle is a DKW, I had to stump somebody.

About two or three times a month while driving home on the freeway, I get the luxury of seeing test mule and prototype vehicles cruising along. usually two or four together. They have the flat black paint and the bra type covers, sometimes tape to disguise grill openings, window shapes, tail light shape, body and beltline creases or bulges. it is so much fun to follow along for a few miles and try to guess what they are, I will try to have my camera ready from now on, then i'll post'um up so we can play all year long. Hell, forever.
