I've worked on Frank Sprongl's group B Quattro a couple of times. It's insane, there's an obscene overuse of kevlar. Watching it drive is like watching a slot car...

Oh yes. That's a kevlar intake duct. And timing belt cover.

(and doors. and hood. and fenders.)

The grille for that car sticks out an extra 3 inches from the front, and deletes the inner two headlights to accomodate for the larger intercooler. The oil cooler runs the full width of the rear spoiler.

Frank owns 2 or 3 group B Quattros. He had to fly out to Lisben (I think) to get a cylinder head for that car 2 days before racing it at Targa Newfoundland.

that car, and the old rally e30 m3's are bar none the best looking rally cars ive ever seen. i would LOVE to own that audi, its fucking sick.

and i just dont like vw, i cant get into the look.

Love the handgrenade shifter in the Chevy motored ratrod.

And maybe I'm just turning into my grandpa, but I really dig that Caddy.

There's a farmer I know of in Eastern Oregon who restored his grandfather's Rat Truck he got for the farm sometime in the late 30s I think and what does he do with it? Makes it his farm work car like it has been for the past 60+ years

Anyone heard of the Chrysler Guppy concept car? It also had a major cab forward design, but was a car. I haven't been able to find any info on it.

Really dig that ZUKI, utility beds are badass. Reminds me of the old dodge A100 truck, or the Econoline truck.

more realistic?
http://en.wikipedi.../wiki/Toyota_FT-HS

The desired specs are pretty intense.

0-60 in 4 Seconds
400 HP

In a hybrid. Unlike American Auto Companies who do use concept cars to try and one up each other or say "Look what we could do!" , most of the toyota concepts have gone on to become production cars. They don't fuck around too much. If toyota takes the time and spends the money makes a concept car; at least some aspects of it are going to show up later.
