Yeah, the Preon looks very nice - I was tempted by either the Preon I Ti, or the kit. How cool is the kit? 1xAA and 2xAA bodies, plus both twisty and clicky tailcaps - great!

Yep, well AAA not AA but still If only they made a Ti version of the kit id be all over it! Right now I am leaning towards the Preon I in Ti and will get both tailcaps. Might use it for a neck light?

4sevens has announced for sure a MC-E tactical light with a selection ring ala Surefire U2 (I think) and I deff want that Its called the Maelstrom 500 (500lm). They have already assured us there will be a Quark or something similar with a color MC-E and Im undecided on whether I would even use that or not so I will probably get it and just sell it if I dont use it. And theyve announced a 2000 lumen light that is the size of a "G2". If they can pull that off I will buy 10 because that would be effing groundbreaking technology lol. Other than that all their announcements are still under wraps and idk what else they are planning.

Dont feel bad! If its not a 4sevens, Malkoff, or Surefire (or a McGizmo) then I dont really pay attention to it lol. I do like the XP-E Triple drop-ins that Electronguru and Moddoo are making and a few other custom makers.

Don't they know it's Thursday in many parts of the world?!

Yep! So far he has released the Quark Mini line! a CR123A light that is the shorter than a few CR2 lights!!! He is also coming out with an AA model. These are NOT compatible with the rest of the Quark line. They use the same driver and interface as the Preon's. Twisty UI but nobody knows the output amount yet... And theres still 2 more releases planned for today ;)

Yep I saw that too!!! Which one are you thinking Meta? XP-G or MC-E or both? I think since ive already got an XP-G TURBO I will either only get the MC-E or sell my Turbo and the the MC-E and XP-G (If money allows me to get either) =( I think ive got issues lol

And did I mention my fiance got me the Quark mini AA and 123 for birthday and Christmas? I will start a new thread with a review on those as soon as I get them. And Meta have you ordered an RGB for some light painting yet?

The MC-E - I have a dodgy MC-E light that I'd like to replace. I'm interested to see what the modes are on the thing, though. Finances are going to hamper me this time of year though.

Yep Ive gotta have the MC-E! I only own one MC-E light (The triple MC-E D30) and I wanted an EDC style to carry with my Ti Quark!

Im thinking I may get the Quark RGB if I get my new job but if I dont use it much I will probably just sell it here or on CPFMP or just keep it for my son when he gets a little older =)
