I have reached the point in my relationship that if my significant other so much as coughs, I want to smash my head into the wall.

Is this bad?

I think we all get to that point sometimes. I know I have, anyway. Hopefully it'll pass in time...

When you put his or her head into the wall, then it's time to get out. My wife hates me occasionally, but she gets over it. I can't hate her too much, she makes all the money. But sometimes she does drive me batty.

I've been with QuePaso 5 years, married for a bit over 3. Haven't even raised my voice. First time I feel a need to shout, or feel like I need to escape, I'm done. Its supposed to be fun. Its work, but its fun, que no?

Drop it like it's hot ugly.

At least, that's always signaled the beginning of the end in my relationships. I guess it depends how serious this is, but you probably have some heavy thinking to do. The next stage (for me) is subconscious sabotage.

If you want to smash your head into the wall, it's not hopeless but it's not nice either. Find out what's bothering you and get it dealt with either through counselling or a long heart to heart talk with your significant other.

If you want to smash your significant other's head into the wall, then this is really bad. Either get this issue dealt with or get the hell out.

Shutterbug and I have been living together nearly 15 years now. We've had our squabbles but they passed pretty quickly as we didn't resort to childish crap like yelling, name calling or throwing stuff. We're still together and looking forward to growing old together.

Just my two cents worth here.

Lack of motivation would be the kicker for me. I can't stand people who sit around doing nothing and have no desire to do anything with their life. Waste of space if you ask me.
