I was also in to the MtG scene. I have tons of cards gathering dust in the attic. Every now and then I break out the original MtG pc game (MicroProse) and go a few rounds.
| You still have those ones we found at you-know-who's, right? Soon I'll be starting a father & son D&D game. I've also played a bunch of other RPG's. I used to play war games, like Squad Leader and stuff like that. Played HeroClix for a while. Pretty fun, but you have to introduce new heroes a lot to keep it interesting. Recently picked up a game called Wooden Ships & Iron Men, which is a board game of ship combat in the age of sail. I also just got the rules to Trafalgar, which is the same thing, but with miniatures. Did I mention I'm into miniatures? I've played a few miniatures games, but I mostly use them for RPG's now. Played Risk a few times, but after playing war games that actually simulate historical events, Risk seems like a pale imitation. Played MtG a couple times, but I still play the pokémon card game fairly regularly.
