Why I participate is not a religious issue.

I think they're just wondering why you're here on UER arguing religion. I personally don't think it's anyone's business. I mostly agree with what you have to say, though we differ in what we think is the most effective tone to take sometimes. But this would be a pretty boring forum if we all agreed with each other all the time. There'd be no point.

Plus, you seem to be a little better-read than most of us.

Well, man, I gotta admit, your attitude is a little abrasive.

From time to time I get the feeling that I want to live a more righteous life of not putting up with delusions and religious bullshit in any form. I think that maybe I should just challenge it wherever I encounter it.

"Oh, you sent me a religious PowerPoint sideshow? Please don't send me this nonsense anymore."

THIS is the problem! you act all high and mighty. I set aside our differences so i could better understand you. SO i could engage in a conversation with you. There are no pressing matters in religion being discussed here. This isnt an international conference on how to save the world from religion. This is just people saying their point of views and having discussions about them. I have only been done with you. I have had several conversations with everyone else here. Even people I disagree with. I disagree with everyone on here. I believ in a higher power, but not organized religion. I think science had a lot to do with us being here, just not everything. Obviously you have a bad memory bc I didn't get involved with that issue. At least not with anything you ever said. You are wrong bc history and tons of information say that you are wrong. Nazis weren't catholic. Its a fact. In fact Nazis are looked at as either a political religion or occult. The nazis did a lot of flip flopping on issues, but it was fairly widely believed and conveyed that Hitler was the messiah. Watch triumph of the will. it has hitler descending from the clouds. If thats not symbolism i don't know what is.

Bc I believe deep down inside there is a person who actually has something constructive to say that could lead to some really good discussions instead of inciting fights and bickering all the time. This started out as a simply attempt to get to know you. I put everything on the table. And you refuse to address anything excpet for how poor innocent gets picked on bc you think differently. Sam, MutantMandis, and Splumer (just off the top of my head) dont believe in god and are not part of a religion, yet people have decent conversations with them without it resorting to the same thing every conversation with you turns in to. I would say no. Nazis were a huge threat to world peace. That is fact. But that is in retrospect. At the time it was known the Nazis didn't like the Jews but the atrocities they were committing were not known until after the war. Its hard me to put myself in the POV of someone from 40's. I have had the luxury of most of my life have international news and the internet to be able to look up info and see things from all perspectives. There, i answered the question. Now it would be great if you addressed my concerns and questions. Hopefully you can read through them, but if you need me to, I can find them, and all the other questions/concerns others have stated in this thread. I never wanted this to become another fight. I was really just wanting some perspective.

In the meantime, i vote we play dodgeball. Or if someone has one of those big parachutes, the ones that we played with in elementary school, that would be awesome. or we could watch this video of silly squirrels.
