my mom has an intention of keeping her G6 (she's getting close to retirement) and I got thinking how the hell would I change the radio in it... the DIC is in the radio display... The Cobalt has the DIC in a window under the speedometer, but not the Pontiac. And the other thing that slays me is her fleet beater base sedan has a tilt-telescope wheel and my top-of-the-line SS only has tilt wheel.

it was a Pontiac version of the Cobalt only available as a coupe. In Canada, the Cobalt- clone was called the Pontiac Pursuit and available in both coupe and sedan version. In the last days, Pontiac also sold a version of the Aveo badged as a G3. In Canada, it was called the Pontiac Wave.
