no im full well aware of that. material items doesn't mean someone loves you, the fact was that he had recalled when I had mentioned i was planning on buying them and when I came home one day before my birthday it was all set up with a big bow! so this is where I relate the considerate part to, that action, not the physical buying of the object

Posted by metawaffle Aside from everything else, I would suggest finding a way to deal with that feeling. Regardless of whether you try harder than he does, that resentment isn't something that'll help you.

I agree fully and am working on that. neither of us is better or worse, we both have our issues^^^see post above^^^ where i mentioned i know I'm not a saint etc etc

The more and more you post the more and more it just seems like a normal part of a relationship. Ive noticed once you've been dating someone for awhile 12+ months you fall into a routine. Instead of trying to impress each other, it becomes more of a shareing your life with someone in a positive way.

most days with my ex fiancee we would wake up smoke a bowl have sex and id go both go to work. i usually worked doubles as a prep cook/dish washer everyday so id be to work from 8 to 9 at night. when i would get home we'd watch a movie smoke a lil maybe hang out with some friends and then go to bed and get it on again. it was pretty much the same thing id do if i was single. I would do nice things during my lunch break like bring her flowers or some some gift. I also would still write her poetry and draw her pictures just to show her i cared even though i worked alot. but we'd still do something nice once or twice a week like go to the mall and go shopping or some date. As i see it as long as you guys love each other and get along and have fun its a good relationshiop. its just after a certian point its not going to be dates everyday and all that jazz. I dont know im rambling...i guess what im getting at is if your both happy and you love each other its worth it.
