Im a member on the PS3T website so I tend to always look for my news and updates from them. If we get free games I hope they have trophies. Should be interesting.

The international PS blog says free games, US PS blog has only mentioned a month of free PS Plus and identity theft protection. But if it really is going to be another THREE WEEKS, I sure as hell hope they offer something better for all the US customers. I'm thinking gift cards--at least $60--towards PS games/accessories, maybe some free DLC for popular games, and I'd also LOVE to get refunded for the full month of Netflix that I can't use. I've been trying really hard to stay loyal because I love my PS3, but Xbox is starting to look better and better while I'm waiting....

I will never Pay to Play. And I don't mind that MP is offline b/c it allows me to go outside and do other things.

Netflix still works on the PS3. You'll get the usual "down for maintenance" message but just keep logging in and the 2nd or 3rd time Netflix will load.

I had no idea there was a difference between US and international PSN service.

Mine does not; it worked for about a week and now it will not let me play anything without logging into the PSN. When I called Netflix about it they said it's probably due to the restructuring of the PSN.

No pay to play, yet you have no play. I pay to play and i get insane discounts and ESPN, and other great features. Not gonna be an xbox fanboy, bc the wii is free and still working (I can play goldeneye and Mario kart and more for free). It's just that Sony screwed the pooch hard with the ps3. It has been a disaster from the get go. The price, the lack of games, this screw up, and several other mishaps. I hope Sony can get their shit together in time for the next system.

Hey jack wagon, almost the entire post was about the ps3. It just happened to be about how much they have screwed up. In fact did you know that gamestop is offering 100 dollars off the ps3 bc the sales have dropped so low?
