Hello

I live on Montreal north shore.

My brother and I always liked to explore little construction site or random places when we were child.

But we just start our real adventure on exploring more interesting sites and older places this summer. (Both of us with a common friends)

Yet we just went on about 10 different location in Montreal.
But only manage to get into 2 of them. (we still suck a bit, but we are motivated to learn)

I hope to meet people with the same interest on this forum, have fun and share knowledge

(sorry if my english is weird, I'm not retarded, just french XD )

Hey there. I go by kreate more often than not, and I hail from the Minneapolis area. I am super interested in urban exploration. I have only attempted it once but turned away in disappointment because we couldn't find an entrance. Once september rolls around, I am definitely down to do some exploration with my fellow Minneapolitans. Let me know!

Finally, the 3 day wall has lifted from the day I registered! Yet I also understand why that was put into affect. Anyways I am here and I am so excited to be apart of the UER community!

My name is Harriette, but I'd preferred to be called Harry or Kandy; the decision is up to you. I'm 21 years old, but will be 22 come this October 24th which means I'm a Scorpio. I currently live in Hawaii, and I have after a long been able to become an urban explorer when I met my boyfriend in Pennsylvania. Ever since watching Ghost Adventures, Exploring with Josh, and being a huge fanatic of horror movies I've wanted to wander the world in search of abandoned places and take photographs of their beautiful history. I'm more than happy to meet people and get to know other urban explorers/UER members. Please send me messages or send a friend request! Have a beautiful day!

Hello! I am a second year university student studying Anthropology with a minor in Sexuality studies in Ottawa.
My biggest love at the moment is urban exploration. I have a fondness for cemeteries and Halloween.
I also love animals and have a dog, two cats, and a gecko.
I can't survive without music or coffee.
My family introduced me to urban exploration and I've been hooked ever since. Favourite location would be the Booth Board mill.

Welcome to the Forums! Studying sexuality sounds fun. Do you guys practice sexual positions in that major? Yeah urban exploration can be pretty fun. If you go on a road trip for three and a half months and just nonstop explore you can burn your interest quite a bit though, so my only advice to you I have right this second is for you to not take it that extreme ever. Or unless you get like diagnosed terminal and with only like a month and a half left to live then give it a shot. Anyhoo explore this great world up and feel please free to attempt your greatest effort to post neat interesting pictures on the forums. Also go ahead and create great interesting new ones that inspire us becoming drags. Peace Out and One love. ;)Let the force be with you.

Welcome to UER, _Bat_

_Bat_ and I have been exploring partners for a couple of months now, and we've been together for all those Ottawa area sites I've posted (except for Carbide Willson). It's all been a team effort and I wouldn't have all the photos and stories without them.

So, I'm not exactly a 'new' member, seeing as I've been lurking around the site on and off for about 2 years now, but it's probably time to introduce myself.

UE is something that's interested me for a long, long time. It's the perfect way to combine two things I enjoy - adventure/exploration, and old buildings/places/things with history. I wouldn't say I'm a history buff, but old asylums, houses, resorts, and schools definitely bring out my curiosity. I've only been to a handful of these places in the last several years, and it appears that new locations (obvious ones, anyway) are only becoming harder to find thanks to demolition and renovation.

Apart from UE, I keep myself busy with all kinds of activities - crafts, art, car stuff/scenic drives, game nights, video games, etc. Recently, I've been doing a fair amount of hiking/trail walking in one of the local state parks. Seeing all the cyclists on the trails has made me consider taking up mountain biking as a more efficient means of getting around (and to get more exercise outdoors).

Hi Guys! My names Christian but my friends call me cliv, and abandoned urban exploration and photography is my passion ( I have a obsession with the 80's, so anything I find from that era makes me so so so happy for no good reason ). I have lurked on the site for a while, but have done my own form of urban exploration since I was young enough to ride my bike around town I remember when I got my friends and I our own personal black angus to hang out in for a few weeks until they demolished it. Just recently I got to explore an abandoned shopping center in my town, including the theater which I have wanted to get into since I started this hobby long ago. ( I got some rad movie posters from the late 80's before they would have been demolished. It gives me anxiety thinking about all of the possible pieces of history and "treasures" will be broken up and thrown away )
I live in southern california, but I am moving to Eugene Oregon in a month. I hope to get some really cool pictures of the area and surrounding states, and maybe make some urbex friends nearby that are down for some adventures

-if you look at it and think 80's, I love it

Howdy! I've been lurking on these forums for quite some time and I think is time for some involvement with the community haha!

My name is Keif, I'm a poor college kid and I'm from Wisconsin! I've had a life time experience of adventuring in the outdoors and in recent years have put urban exploring under my belt.

What drew me into urbexing was the excellent opportunities for my photography passion (you can only take so many land scape shots :p) and the thrill of adventure and how unique each location is!

At my college me and a friend of mine have started a little underground urbexing ring that is constantly expanding! We keep it very exclusive by taking folks on "test runs" and if they seem satisfactory we have an actual initiation ceremony lol

Hello, I was referred to this site from an adventurous friend that has been a member for a few months. I'm psyched to have found this resource.

I'm JB a photographer out of Cleveland, Ohio and 55. I've been running around and exploring abandoned buildings, making photographs of the structures, still lives, model shoots and watching how nature reclaims her spaces for over 4 decades. "I've become an urban historian an have been urban exploring throughout North America, from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Our mission is to document America before it is gone. They are erasing our history, we are all witnesses." We have posted 50+ videos on our YouTube channels and will posting them.

A cop told me I was to old to be wondering around in abandoned buildings. I told him he was right and I was a bad man for being an urban explorer and I did not want to break a hip. He let me go with a warning… That's my new hook… I'm to old.. LMAO!!!

PEACE and safe travels!!

Hi guys. I'm new here. I've always observed urbexing, looking at pics and watching videos and whatnot, but while visiting relatives in Alaska I finally took the plunge and went and explored an old house with my uncle. We weren't really prepared for that, so we were lucky we didn't run into any problems. Now I'm getting my gear together to go look at an old manor house near me. I have one question though. What respirator is recommended for black mold? The big thread wasn't that clear.

I don't wear a respirator. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger... or sick as fuck... I've been lucky so far.

Welcome to UER
The spores will also get into your clothes. A paper mask is enough. Don't go ape shit disturbing it though.
The spores are microscopic...
