Just explain to the officer if they come by that you need to practice for when the tracks are reopened after winter.

What is it suppose to be? If there was a track int he middle then I'd say a bridge over spillway. But that looks strange

Hope they catch the jerk with the lug wrench! If they do, a fitting punishment would be to configure his phalanges such that he can only count to 9 with both hands.

No luck sorry. Though as it happened at a major intersection the cops came down to direct traffic around and they told me the other cars that day had been hit too.

They were in a motor-pool service yard on a military base. Most likely for service/inspection of the undercarriage of the vehicles they serviced.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?

Yup! thats what they are for! There's an active base around here that has those still. Whats interesting is that they use them for oil changes en masse.

To bring a thread back alive....

A local one with some condemned houses.

And one that involved some off reading to get to, mile long rail via-duct.

My Liberty in an old train tunnel:

My son's 97 TJ stuck-ified:

He was in the middle of a few acres of undeveloped land in the middle of a bunch of industrial park in a SW Cleveland suburb. No winch, and alone, he abandoned it so he could get to work. We came back later and pulled him out. Yes, that's an Eagle Scout plate. Be prepared my ass.

True. He's holding out for 33's, but he's got to lift it more first. I told him save his money and get new 31's, but I'm just his dad, what do I know?

These were all taken at a (semi)abandoned quarry. There's nothing like spending a day wheeling around climbing concrete and then making a hobo fire with some drinks.

Haha! I finally did it! I figured out how to embed a video. Kings to me.

Right, so, here's a video I took cruising through this same abandoned quarry. Its pretty much been the only place I've truly offroaded but hey.

We find a lot of bums and whatnot there and try not to accidently run over their bum villages but they tend to think it is a good idea to build a freaking tent village right smack dab in the middle of a trail. Since this quarry sits in the middle of an urban sprawl we find a lot of neat people there all enjoying the area for fishing, canoeing, shooting, paintball, ATVs and dirtbiking. There are even a few bonfire spots. The channel this video is on has a bunch of other shenanigans of us in the same quarry.

Nice! Not too many places to wheel for free in PA, unless you have your own land. There was an abandoned strip mine in Shamokin that many went to, but heard the status there is changing.

Just a word to the wise, and I know there are others that won’t abide, but do what you can to keep it clean – it may stay around longer for you!
