i bought a nice kenwood radio last summer (2011) and since day one ive been bugged, first the USB port cant see more than 250 files on a key (unlike my sony) didnt have RDS well today the AM stopped working...

anyways headed to the local future shop got a great sony with more features for less to replace this peice of junk!

Kenwood stopped making good car audio in like 1990.

Hahaha my jetta hasn't had AM since the month I got it. Dont care enough to fix it.

I have a Pioneer in my Jeep and its pretty decent, but I will upgrading that shortly to one that does HD Radio and iPhone connectivity.

<3 Pioneer.

I've had super fantastic good luck with their stuff... I've probably had 15 different Pioneer decks over the years, they always work, the quality is good, and they don't look greasy.

Pioneer is like bulletproof.
Although, I have had good luck with the JVC deck i put in the Beretta.

Come to think of it, the system in the Cobalt is all Pioneer.

i find ever since pioneer started making "economy" home equipment they have left a bad taste in my mouth, although, my home stereo is all pioneer. The amp driving my sub an old 1970 pioneer receiver, a 1996 pro logic reciever, a 1992 6 disk changer, 1984 tape deck, and a 1975 turntable. all pioneer!

I've had good luck with Panasonic...and considering the abuse my ex gave my Civic's Pioneer deck, it's amazing it still works.

All my discmans and stereos at home have been Panasonic as well, and lasted a good, long time.

there was a time that delco made some of the best stock radios out there. i remember late 80s early 90s ford sound systems were garbage. im surprised in the b4000 the speakers are pretty good. my sunfire had the 8 speaker monsoon system with the amp in back, was pretty nice actually.

Ive used nothing but Pioneer in all our cars for ever since i can remember.

I had a Kraco tapedeck/power booster (Ohhhh) and speakers in my 80 Pinto!

My Dad still bases his standard for a good car stereo on Craig.

There was one of these kicking around the garage for the longest time-

I lol'd.... simply because, in about 1991, my dad decided to swap out the 1 speaker AM radio (with digital tuner!) in our '86 Caravan for a "better" unit. My mom and I were pretty excited for the possibility of a CD player.

My dad bought this horrible Sparkomatic tape deck (with analog tuner), with 2 Sparkomatic speakers...

(And that Craig 8-Track is awesome... I want one for one of my classic VWs)
