The BSA doesn't actively persecute gays and non-believers. That sets them quite a bit apart from the Klan. I predict that within 20 years, the BSA will no longer discriminate based on religious belief or sexual orientation. Discrimination based on sexual orientation has already become socially unacceptable, so that should drop within 10 years, I predict. It will take longer for them to drop the religious belief requirement. They don't specifically exclude atheists, but they require that all scouts and leaders subscribe to the statement of religious beliefs, which says that faith is required for one to be a good citizen.

Bigotry of all sorts is on the wane. It's only a matter of time before the BSA wises up and realizes that remaining bigoted will only hurt them in the long run. Sadly, my scoutmaster shares the BSA's bigotry.

Quoting me, while completely misinterpreting what I had said, and then turning it into a vehicle for more hate and ignorance, throwing in a statistic which, even if not completely fabricated, has no relevance, and offers absolutely no information about motivation or causality, yet you act as if it made some point. It was like saying that most bank robbers claim to have seen movies about robbing banks, which proves that they are Quentin Tarantino.

So, in conclusion, I think I'll be just fine ignoring you, as most people have done. I may be compelled to gently point out things whenever you post some truly ignorant hate filled rant from time to time, but I realize now that it would only be for the benefit of others.
