| | | Anyone local to these locations that wants to go explore? Crawford and most of the other good places are demolished. So I need to find new spots to hit.

| | | as you know, we got to all the cool places before demo. i've found a few places to check out in harrisburg, but because of the location of them, they're kinda hard. if you're white and on foot, you're going to get searched and harassed. if you're in a vehicle, you will be followed until you fuck up or they make some shit up to pull you over. heroin has destroyed any chance of white people being able to fly under the radar in hbg. Cops think anyone and everyone in those areas are junkies, and you will be harassed. That being said, my truck and I are known and valuable targets in harrisburg, so if you drive, i'm down, but i cant risk going over in my truck. Harrisburg is like the wild wild west these days, only with more cops and DEA

I don't think anymore, across from the speedway. The rollercoasters kind of cool.

| | | Here's a few shots of the park back when the rides were still there http://www.flickr....72157603937524476/ I have lots more if interested
And a few from the nearby power plant http://www.flickr....72157603937386528/ The crawford station was known to a few explorers before it was torn down, but I dont know of any that got the chance to visit. Most were scared off by the fact it was behind three fences and at the end of the airport runway. It was also a hangout for military police, but they're softies at heart lol. It was so much fun hanging out on the rooftop at night with planes taking off overhead shaking the whole building. It was closed in the 70's, and was actually fairly easy to get into (hence all the tags. Most dated from the late 80's to mid 90's) up intil '95 when a kid fell to his death and more fences were constructed and motion sensors put into place. I sure do miss it...

I'm pretty sure that's there yet, unless the vagrant trailer park kids destroyed it.

Ahhh gotcha. I guess most of what I have seen from that place has been the last year or so, and that being the main thing. Really, I guess it would be the one thing to go and shoot there. Didn't seem like much else.

| | | Nice night shots! Yeah, H-burg is kinda the Wild, Wild, East. That's not the sound of a car backfiring you hear. As for the park, I remember as a kid how rickety the Cyclone was with the weight of the coaster and passengers going into the (few) turns. Climbed it last year for a shot - it was just as rickety with my sole light frame
