Thats why im thinking the T would be a good idea. I just dont know how many spots there are on it. Im sure you could get a good amount with the commuter rail. Does Gillet Stadium still have a stop? Cause FSH is like a 10 minute walk from that. I know ive seen tons of places along the quincy redline. Theres boston state hospital which could be sketchy but with a good group not that bad.

What else is there?

The stop on the commuter rail that goes to Gillet is only open when there is a special event. other than that its like 7 miles from the walpole stop. Boston State Hospital is almost totally demolished, if you really wanna go you should prolly go with someone who has been since the area is kinda sketchy without a few kid runnin around with mag lites and cameras, other thing at Boston is you will prolly need a respirator. IF you have any other questions you can pm me. its not really worth the trip if you have to go out of your way to it.

That's the problem with Massachusetts I guess. Even though we have some sweet locations, one will be on the north shore and the other on the south shore and the next in friggin' Worcester. There's no one central, awesome spot to congregate and see 1000000000000 cool locations.

Heh in all fairness, Nicksan drives a lot too... but yeah we could spend a week in MA shooting abandoned hospitals every day. I thought I was lucky having the 3 LI state hospitals next to me until I visited there.

Hey, didn't you drive to the Canadian border a few weeks ago too Snows? ;)

MA. is a great state for UE. I would come out but my policy is I dont go anywhere with anyone that is under 18.

The Germans killed the Jews and the Jews killed the Arabs and the Arabs killed the hostages and that is the news. Is it any wonder that the monkey's confused?

So eh... what happened to that get together, it seemed like such a good idea.
Anyway, my partner in crime and myself are located in northeastern RI and have driven 8 hours for a cup of coffee so were in no matter where it's at in Mass.
You can come chill with us if you like but somewhere easy first so we can be sure your alright and of course, you gotta be 18 or over.

The world is not nearly as scary as the TV makes it out to be.

I could be interested in a gathering as well. I can't imagine it would be great to get like 20-30 people together to all go exploring at once but it would be cool to meet some people in person for a change.

Spider Gates is off an old road, so old it's still dirt and not used. Most people say there's only one gate, but actually there's two entry points, with a total of 3 "spider gates". The other gates are in peoples imaginations, just breaks in the rock wall. There's no spooks, and nobody in our posse reported feeling anything strange, but we're not ouiji board players so maybe satans minions couldn't be bothered with us. Also, the stones are pretty new, so don't expect to see two or three hundred year old stones. Also note, the gates with the oh-so-scary spider design aren't even the original gates, they're from the 70s if my memory serves me.

My girlfriend nagged me to visit her at work the other day. I figured it'd be boring, and I'd have to.. ya know.. talk to her or something. But then I pulled up to the place and realized she works in a mill space that's been built into the side of a hill. The majority of it is leased, I guess, but for the most part nothing's locked, and you can access the majority of the building very easily from her wing.
The most interesting part I saw was the multi-level roof, which is easily accessable from the back.

Plenty of parking, semi-abandoned, and I can get in (almost) legally.
If anyone's in the are and wants to check it out this weekend or next, PM me.

I suppose you could include me in this group of people looking to explore with others. I'm not inexperienced, just don't have an online presence here.

My friend and I have seen a bit of the major NE exploring landscape but obviously always up for something or someone new. We hail from a little ways north of Boston and are over 18, for those of you that are against the young'ins!

We're currently trying to complete what we have dubbed Farewell Tour '05, a list of some of the endangered locations in MA. If all goes well we'll get to see them one last time before they become distant memories. If anyone else would like to collaborate feel free to send a PM.

Sorry to bump this thread up but I'll chime in. I'm from New Bedford and if you know where to look you can find abandoned houses by the water front as well as some old abandoned buildings.
