I mean i would love to have access to all that stuff in the DB and have a chance to contribute, but as of now my group does not have a photographer that is willing to do anything but Artistic shots. And my only other friend i have that can take pictures and is interested may not be free very often. So my issue is that because this forum seems to be based off photos, i will prolly never make it anywhere here. i am here to learn, explore and have fun. not force myself to learn photography, and take breath taking shots. so i think this whole prove yurself with pictures stuff is kinda silly. i mean even to have access to the other boards/LDB would be nice. The truth is that, I live in the middle of nowhere and I don't have cash to go elsewhere to meet people with full membership. So, I won't get full membership in next few years... As pointed out before there is more than one way to get your FM. Good people are always welcomed here. They're many good folks here too that you can make friends with online, not the same as meeting them, but it gives us a better idea who you are. If the group doesn't like your attitude or practices, it's doubtful you'll get, or keep your FM. Posting pics is a good way to share your UE with others here, and help get your FM. We like stories with pics, a lot! They don't got to fancy, interesting helps. Houses are a bore most times, old military RR and industrial complexes are the cat's ass. I thought I would just organize a few things and chip in a thought or two of my own WAYS TO GET FULL MEMBERSHIP: (you don't need to do all of these, even one if you do it a lot is just fine) -post photos of where you have been -write stories about where you have been -go on chat and discuss where you have been -explore with other members of the site -go to a meet WAYS TO BE DENIED: -argue more than you post positive things -whine about being denied the first time -contribute absolutely nothing -insult members Epilogue: My story: I got FM after a month on the site. I tried chat a few times, but felt odd because things related to UE are not discussed in chat most of the time. I stopped using chat and realized that it is actually much more fun to PM members on the site (great way to meet explorers). in fact I'm going to go on a tangent: I applied for FM and really wanted it, but as I was waiting I actually stopped caring because I was meeting so many explorers and seeing so many new places I almost forgot that I didn't have FM. Really, despite all of this site's problems (flame wars, huge stupid threads related to nothing, favoritism, elitism) it does it's job wonderfully: Allows explorers to meet other explores and SHARE. Back to what I was saying: Not using chat anymore, I met up with some members of the site (not full members just other basic members) and took lots of pictures. I posted the pictures that I took, along with stories about the places I visited.
