| | | Posted by brandnewteeth Sorry to hear about your bad luck. However, I love sleeping in buildings far too much for this to phase me.

| | | Posted by saceist Camping in abandoned buildings can be fun. What can be more fun is if you "camp" in an old hospital or asylum, and bring one of your "psychically connected" friends with you. That way, the whole time, they're telling you weird ghost stories. Of course, if you don't believe in ghosts, then your friend is a liar, but if you do believe, then that place is all the more interesting. A tip about doing this in a building local to your home: Know any cops in that town? My friend was begging me to being her to Lakeville Hospital overnight, so I called on a friend who worked 1st shift. He gave the heads up to one of his cop buddies on third shift. We had no problems at all, except for two 1st shift cops visiting just for kicks. Not all police officers are evil. =]

I heart handskillz (notice how I cleverly replaced the "S" with an "Z"). Or do I? [last edit 9/14/2007 12:21 PM by msjersey - edited 1 times]

| | | So what if you are camping out in a building and in the morning you wake up, have your coffee and cigarette, and then have to go number two? what then? Do you hold it, or do you bring toilet paper and leave a deposit for the next group to stumble upon?

| | | I'd be sure to bring your phone and have your friend bring his too... especially if your car is somewhere it *shouldn't* be. If it gets towed you're gonna wish your phone wasn't sitting on the front seat! I've done some mine camping and exploring! That's a blast. Haven't stayed in any buildings yet though.
