New exploration sites!!!!

I've found a bunch of new exploration sites!I don't have any pictures or anything to show yousorry. But I Can tell you were and what they are...First off 3 of them of gas stations, and they're all about 1 mile from each other. The first gas station is in the center of the town of Madrid, new york.It still has everything there(gas pumps, cash register, air hoses, all equipment)it also has a black 1987 chevy silverado with a plow parked next to it.The second gas station Is on the intersections of route 310 and 345.its all boarder tight right up.There is usally a cop sitting there watching for speeders. The third and final gas station is about 1/2 from that, and it is slowly being overtaken by trees and weeds.its been abandoned since the 80s or 70s.Also as you come into town (down 345)there are two sites right adjacent from each other. One is an old store/deli (with apartments on the 2nd floor)it was abandoned back in the late 90s or early 2000's,(It used to be C-RAY'S MARKET).But anyhows the building adjacent to the abandoned store is also abandoned as I had metioned earlier. Is a old hardware store,It used to be called MADRID FAMILY HARDWARE.I'm not too sure about it's story.Oh I almost forgot there is a abandoned apartment building right next door to main street market.Everything is still locked up tight execpt the front enterance to the lobby/small hallway.there is ALSO a apartment building that is abandoned right next to the laundry mat.I dont think its locke dup at all.The guy who used to live there got busted for drugs or so i've heard from a friend.

Since you are relatively new here I'll assume that these are some of the first sites you have found yourself; and you certainly seem excited about them.

While there is nothing wrong with posting these new locations here (though photos would help and would likely bring about some better responses) keep in mind that you are speaking to a group of people who are largely spoiled after years of seeing abandoned power plants, steel mills, psychiatric hospitals and a litany of other sites that are incredible in both size and the scope of materials and equipment that they contain. In fact, just last weekend I saw examples of each of the sites mentioned above as well as a coal breaker and a hotel. Given this, not too many people around here get excited about abandoned gas stations, though there are always exceptions. There is one person on this site who is mad for abandoned houses, though most despise them.

So in short, enjoy the locations you have found but don't stop the search for bigger and better sites.

I must be in a good mood today.

Pretty cool, the gas station with everything still there sounds awesome to me, I'd love to visit it but Madrid is a ways away from me.

I thought you were talking about websites.

1> Don't list addresses on here like that. Instead, mention the area, city, or a landmark. If you just put addresses or specific directions, most likely ignorant little kids are going to vandalize the location, get hurt, or even worse, local authorities might make it impossible to ever explore the site again.

2> See how I have my tips separated? Try that. It's incredibly hard to read what you're typing due to your lack of grammar skills. Take an English class or maybe a French class. This, however, is really easy to read.

3> If the sites are in far different places, try putting them in different posts.

Have a good one,
Sacey
