Wet and Wild Water Park

I recently took a trip out to the old Wet and Wild Water park. I went to the hotel and spoke to the owner, showed him my camera gear and asked for permission to enter the property. I was granted 30 mins to take pictures then had to vacate the property.

Here are some pictures

All in all, this place has gone to hell with all the graffiti and damage to the water slides, but it was my 1st time there and I enjoyed every min I got to spend legally exploring this place.

Thanks for looking

Wow, it really has gone to hell. I went about 5 years ago now but don't remember any graffiti at all. Nice pics!

I wouldn't buy pie from that guy, he's probably just trying to molest you...like a mailman or something.

The graff has been there for ages...though I am sure there is more now. You must have missed the stuff years ago.

Also, it isn't a very secure property, and you can take all the time you want if you just walk right on. And it's so big that they won't notice you if you don't make a ton of noise.

Looks like it would be fun to skate board down that slide.

Still not very secure but they did put up a 6-8' fence around the whole property now.

I was exploring the cave last night. That's why I was late.

that fence has its breaks in it. i wonder though, what do you think the motel next to it is being used for?
the whole back of it appears abandoned

Talking to the owner of the hotel, they are not usually busy until beginning of Summertime and they usually are dead other times unless someone stops along the highway and needs to sleep. It did not seem busy to me when I stopped to see the Wet and Wild. There was one older couple checking in when I arrived.

It'd be fun to grease up a snow sled or something too, see how that fares on the way down!!

Why is marijuana not legal? Why is marijuana not legal? Its a natural plant that grows in the dirt. You know what's not natural, 80 year old dudes with hardons. Thats not natural, but we got pills for that. We're dedicating all our resources to keeping the old guys erect but we're puttin people in jail for smoking something that grows in the dirt.

The Slide is in good condition and can hold weight, I was walking down the slide taking pictures. Seems the wood holding it is still in good condition.

Nice pics, it's definitely a fun place to explore. I wish I had found about it years ago so I could've been there when there was more to see.

Anyways, here's my pics from when i was there back in the fall:

I was there over the summer & found it to be pretty uninteresting. Not much to shoots a lot of stuff has been removed. Slides still remain but had pools of stagnant water & litter. Great view of Lake Ontario from the top! Plenty of ways to just walk right in & nobody was around.
