Depending on your situation and what would be more helpful to you, you can remove the outer sheath which by itself is rated above 200 lb.test, exposing 7 double strands having 32 lb. test, and if you need more line and less strength will do the job, as in fishing, you can separate each of the seven strands into 2 lengths with a 16 lb. test. So 10 feet of 550 lb test paracord will yield 70 feet of 32 lb. test line, or 140' of 16 lb. test line.And you still have the 10' of outer 200 lb. test line from the sheath. Now to me that's cool.
