So exploring today I found a brand new (expensive) cellphone, who lost it?

All you have to do it note me where it was lost, and what type of phone and carrier.

Have you considered calling any of the numbers on it, in an effort to find the owner?

The ESN gets locked down for CDMA phones (Sprint). So once they report it lost or file insurance the phone will be bricked.

Might as well return it for some karma. Generally everyone has a 'home' or 'mom' in the phone that is a safe bet. If it auto-locked then you might as well bring it to a sprint store.

If it rusts I will find it

I'm trying to remember who it was... Someone from AvChat who lives in Jersey lost a phone recently. Something about it going out a car window into a forest and they only knew where it was within a half mile area?
I was just pointing them in the direction of metal detector rentals when a piano fell out of the sky and AvChat folded up like an origami waterbox and I found myself sitting in the rain, on a dark, lonely night.

KASHWAK = NO-FO

lol. It took me over half of the book to realize that no-fo meant "no phones". I'm on the last 10 pages of the book as we speak and about to go finish it.

Edit: Back on topic, CDMA phones as it has been posted already, are not like GSM phones. If you buy one from Verizon, Sprint will not allow it on their network nor will Bell, Rogers, etc. You are stuck with that provider. It's going to be a paperweight soon. Try to find the owner.

As I kept scrolling through the "new posts" right now, I couldnt figure out why there was a red stocking next to "Cellophane found in CT".. it took me a good 3 or 4 passes to stop and read it over again. =D

Called sprint this morning and they said the ESN number is clear. I guess Michele shut it down without reporting it lost or stolen. Poor girl! I guess she just wanted to forget about her unlocked phone where she dropped it criminal trespassing, and you guys say return it for karma. Lulz...

I say $300.00 OBO

Uhoh, you've been COMMANDED now... You can't back down, this is the internet. He's got full control of you. Now you must call!

**EDIT**

Therrin calls 'home', his Dad picks up, has a conversation, and hangs up the phone. Well that was useless.
